The AMD E-450 was a mobile processor with 2 cores, launched in August 2011. It is part of the E lineup, using the Zacate architecture with Socket FT1. E-450 has 512 KB of L2 cache per core and operates at 1650 MHz. AMD is building the E-450 on a 40 nm production process, the transistor count is unknown. The multiplier is locked on E-450, which limits its overclocking capabilities.
With a TDP of 18 W, the E-450 consumes very little energy. AMD's processor supports DDR3 memory with a single-channel interface. This processor features the Radeon HD 6320 integrated graphics solution.
Hardware virtualization is available on the E-450, which greatly improves virtual machine performance.
