A buddy of mine is asking me about this browser called Flock but its not something Iv heard of. Does anyone know if its secure or in the same league as Firefox or Opera? Heres the link.

So its bascially firefox with a load of add-ons bundled? Why dont they just work on a decent add-on for use in the proper firefox release. Surely flock will always be behind any updates cus they have to mod it first.

It's more than just integrated addons -- the basic UI of the browser is changed around, too.

Though, true, you can do just about everything Flock can do with addons for regular Firefox ;) -- Flock would really be for someone who doesn't want to bother using separate addons and whatnot, which is actually quite a lot of people, apparently. Many Firefox installations that I come across that people actively use don't ever have any extensions at all.
