lets hope they fix the many, MANY fails of 9.6 (source games FPS drop, crashes in COH, corruption with crossfire + multi monitor)

9.6 work great for me. Left 4 Dead still runs 124 fps(NO HIGHER RRR) 8x AA maxed out.

try other source games, like TF2. the FPS is a lot lower now.

trust me mate, your PC is more than powerful enough for vista and 7. your systems faster than my media PC in every way, and its never choked at anything. (except gaming, but its onboard ffs

with no drivers the gpu was running at 61C (idle) with the fan at 17% lol when with driver 35-40C (idle) with the fan at 12%

They did better fix the multi monitor set up. Kept giving me problems. Had to plug out my secondary monitor before playing some games E.G lineage2 , killing floor.

No, the drivers are a release candidate and are not signed. That's why you get that popup. Tick continue anyway.

4770 support was added in cat 9.6 if am not mistaking so yes
it supports all Radeon HD cards

Installed 9.6 from official AMD web site and works well with HD70s in Xfire.
Running XP 32 bit as well.
