I am bored with everything I have right now so i would like some recommendations on game demos or free games that are pretty good to test out. Or really any good game lol let me know! Thanks

EDIT: to be more specific I like action games, shooters, rpg's, some racing. Anyone have any advice?

Some good demos I've played are Trine(indie, solid sidescroller w/great graphics and physx support), Burnout Paradies (limited time), Evochron Legends (indie, limited time), World in conflict (can even play online too! amazing demo! + video benchmark), CoD4, Arma II, UT3, and I'm sure there are a few others I'm missing...most of those I attained thru steam too, which is pretty convenient imo.

:toast:

I have played COD4 Demo, ARMA II Demo, I really didn't like the feel of that game though. I might have to try the world in conflict demo. I have seen it for alot of GPU Benchmarks. And thanks for the input man!

I just tried the Fuel demo and Hawx demo and they are both not bad, pretty good graphics although hawx was a much better game in my opinion.

try trine. if you got any spare controllers, 3 player coop is awesome.

Yeah, Trine has to be one of the most original and fun games I have played in quiet a while, can't wait till it releases.

i've been playing the full version for a week, lol.

How about a classic game? I still play the original 1999 Unreal Tournament! The gameplay and music are fantastic and there are hundreds of maps and mods out for it. Heck, you can still play it online.

Of course, on modern hardware, it runs 100% smoothly and then some. :D Any low end graphics card can handle it nowadays.

you like cartoon design?? try Drift City its an MMO racing game with anime style graphics fill with load of mission at start, very addictive until reach the point around level 71+ you get fed up like i did lol. Great free game to play but require real money for all the good stuff which i hate..
I reconmend if you just want go hardcore and play for hours to earn money to buy upgrades for your specific car you want.

Tried Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood ?

I tried that, it was alright. I am just too picky I guess  Thanks for the advice though!

Man I love UT99 its a great game I haven't played it forever. Where can I download that?
Tried Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood ?

That costs money ;)

trine can be played on mouse and keyboard, but you can have two more players join in coop via controllers. You could probably get away with a joystick, if you set buttons to movement and used the stick to aim.

No demo 4 bound in blood ? Oh just checked ... that`s what I meant.

You can get it on Steam. The link below takes you to the deal pack, which gives you the choice of buying individually or as a bundle:

Even though I bought it on CD years ago, it's way more convenient to have it run with Steam, for backup and install purposes.
