While the concept itself is still in planning, AMD CEO Hector Ruiz says that Apple will eventually incorporate its processors into their products. At a dinner party in San Francisco, Ruiz emphasized that Apple "didn't want to be a hostage to Intel, like other firms have been". Ruiz also berated Intel for making the PC industry seem based on price alone. However, the PC industry is far from mature, and the incorporation of AMD processors in major OEM builds definitely helps AMD gain a more significant market share.
