Anyone can build a gaming PC, but it is how you configure it that matters. Well i have been building regular PC as hubby for at lest 10 years and gaming PC for at least 6 years. I had built using ATI and Nvidia(CF or SLI) I had build more than 100 PCs 20 of those had been extreme gaming rigs since they cost a lot of money not every one has the money for them. When I build these EXTREME gaming PCs it usually involves water cooling (CPU, VGA, NB,SB) All kinds of configuration.I also Over clock the PC and save the config in the BIOS usually two. I make sure that it runs stable. There is no limit if you have a fat wallet.. When it is all set and done I try to keep the gaming part of the PC separate from the regular PC. In other words Two hard drives( Dual BOOT). For example the hard drive that is for gaming I use windows 7 premium 64. I installed all the games and just the necessary software to run the OS and no AV.Pretty bare. It is build and optimize for gaming only. Not for browsing the internet or viewing your email, etc. Not recommended for browsing the internet since there is no AV. On the second hard drive I install Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit with with all the works ( with whatever you want). It is a Dual Boot PC. Installed any other hard drive for storage as you need. When it is finish and you are playing games you will have no problems, no conflicts with software including AV that usually crash games, nothing, nada. I have been doing this for a while and it works for me and my clientele is happy and keep coming for more. Think of it as an XBOX 360 on steroids and with the wired or wireless controllers.
