The Point of this thread is to discuss If an administrator or moderator modify/delete/move a thread or post they should notify the offending party/user who caused the problem., especially if its something where they are not doing anything 'wrong'.
I can only speak for myself but If someone deletes my posts I'm going to re-post my thread if I was not given a pm for why it occurred. (In the case of a deletion where there has been no contact between the Admin/Mod and user).
Why this came up:
I have some fresh infractions and had a heated conversation with erocker trying to figure out who deleted a thread of mine and why. I still don't know who it was, I don't really care. Erockers job would just have been easier if the first moderator.administrator would have sent me a pm after the modifications. (They did not, so I reposted my thread and received an infraction from Erocker)
