False, the prelude was never released in response to any setbacks of the full game. The Prelude was released well before the full game was ever announced and was basically meant as a large demo, which they were pretty clear about.

Take the tip of a pen, push it into the indented finger opening spot to break the plastic, tear plastic off (takes about 5 seconds)

I prefer to use a table saw with the blade micrometers above the surface so it cuts only the plastic and not the case. It works very well and is very efficient for opening 300 games lol

Could make stacks of 50 games and use a razor, thats how I open boxes at work in quick succession, small cut on the finger tab and just quickly down the stack, but I can't say I've ever opened more than 3 games at once, so the pen trick is quick/efficient enough and can cause no damage.

They disc was "obtained" by a guy in Czech. It was not released early by Sony or anything. Sony needs the time to make the rest of the copies and get them spread around the globe before a release.

Rumor is now these lucky Czechs (about 3-4 guys now) might got their hands on a non-gold copy, some sort of early copy for the press, who knows. The is a lot of discrepancies between early gameplay footage and articles written about the game. Either the leaked copies are based on old builds, PD emplace some leak protection (limits the game before release), or there is going to be massive disappointment.

I think it is cool to have an audience while you race, or witnesses to see you kick ass .

i don't watch nascar because i don't like watching other people race. i think at least for the first few months i wont bother spectating and will just find a lobby with open racing slots.

16 player races should be amazing, really can't wait, I also hope the damage model is good, before the mechanical damage that you could turn on was way too sensitive.

Odds are that is true, seeing as that game didn't have the sticky seals on it, only plastic wrap.

Hell yeah, that sounds like a plan to me. I havent played any GT game in a long time, I loved GT3, played that thing seriously like 8+ hours a day when I was too young to have a job. I beat that game to 100% completion 5 times.... When GT4 came out I was really excited, but it just felt like the same game with more cars, and even though 3 didn't have the most cars, I had beaten it so many times and had most of what I wanted, I just never got into it. So really been waiting for this for like 5 years, can't wait!

the last GT game i played was the first GT and i played the balls out of it. one of those acuras you could pimp out with dual turbo and add a bunch of amazing upgrades. i tuned the balls out of it as well and could beat almost any other car in any race. it was like the 3rd car i bought!

Wow, GT1 was like 97, thats what got me to give away my N64 and buy a PS.
