Xigmatek Aegir SD128264

Xigmatek makes sure each new product has a little something new to look out for, often these turn out to be as revolutionary as the "Heatpipe Direct Touch" (HDT) itself. With the Aegir SD128264, Xigmatek claims to have taken HDT to the next level (quite literally), and added a second level of heatpipes that draw heat from the CPU. Will this innovation bear fruit?

Ahh xigmatek. Looks the same as most of their stuff, but probably more compatible and more heatpipes? Cant go wrong with more heatpipes.

Explaining Xigmatek's naming convention would be nice here, eg. 128264 stands for 12cm fan, 2 of 8mm pipes and 4 6mm pipes.

Aegir's competitors (in its price-band) are NH-D14, SuperMega[halems], and the CNPS9900 MAX from this review. Dark Knight is more of a $45~$55 cooler.

Xigmatek has many nice stuff, i got HDT series and it performs well on my X4

Well, there is only 1 "form" which is good currently, and that's the "many heatpipes with a large tower with many fins" design, so its not surprising that they look the same.

Im going to try and get my friend to buy this cooler. he got a core i5 750 a couple months ago and he has a VID of 1.11v. I was like dude we got to get you and new cooler to overclock this thing to the moon and he was like alright later.
