PSN Pass....your thoughts?

Before I go any further, this idea has been done before if I am not wrong? Buying access to local servers/online play is nothing new. However I greatly prefer the Xbox Live model of a flat yearly rate to individual registrations? Who wants to buy a PS3 Slim with a 60GB SSD for 300 bucks?

I don't really have a problem with this as long as the game comes with the code, and it seems like it does. So when you buy the game you get the code. If you want to lend the game to your friends, they have to buy another PSN Pass for the game if they want to play it online.

It is a way to help recoup some money on the used game market.

While I agree it is a way for Companies to help re-coup the used game market losses(that is the cost of someone buying the game used instead of new). I just hope it means they'll put more into the development of there online communities instead just collecting the extra cash and doing nothing.

I'm sure any and all 'extra' cash will be put to good use according to them. Maybe not exactly how you would like to see it spent though.
