According to a possible leak by a Rockstar North employee, Grand Theft Auto V (GTA V), could be headed for an October 2012 launch. The employee in question, Alex O'Dwyer, a character animation developer, listed out the projects he worked on, in his CV, which included a mention of "Grand Theft Auto V", with a date of "Oct 2012". The CV has since been pulled, with no comment from O'Dwyer or Rockstar.

What a depressing resume...

it was going to release in May, i don't think that's true. Have to w8 and see.

If it was coming out next month, we'd be hearing a lot more noise about it. They're likely aiming for an October launch but launch dates are rarely set in stone unless they press release it (and they haven't).

Well based on the CV looks like his specialty is designing vehicles.

Big Mutha Truckers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seeing GTAV isn't that impressive...seeing the letters PC with it at launch, now that is impressive.

Mark my words, if GTA V will come out on PC this October, i will drink coolent straight outta my cooling system.

here hoping the GTA V doesn't have same dreaded Taxi Bug that plagued GTA 4. :rockout:. I had modded previous versions of GTA to max and never had the any problems before the GTA 4.

Yeaaaaaaah , I love this game , can not wait for playing it !!!:rockout:
The problem is , there is always a leak about GTA , not a definite news .

GTA V will not come out for PC until march 2013...You are safe:toast:

This will be a month to remember!

well, i have noticed that in future shop Canada, have pre-order cards... for GTA V.

does not bode well, because that would make the game a rushed game. and even though it is just San Andreas with better graphics and maybe a fleshed out story.

I want.

There are few games I truly want, and this just like all the GTA games is one of them.

I hope we don't get more of th-NIKO, COUSIN! LET'S GO BOWLING!!

Definitely can't wait for this. If they're using the same engine as GTA IV then they've had plenty of time to optimize it, which makes me all kinds of giddy inside. Just hope Crossfire is properly supported this time around.

Let's hope Rockstar listened to everyone's criticisms of the last game, I'm thinking they have.

Judging by the review scores and sales they probably think GTAIV was flawless. I actually enjoyed IV a lot less than III and VC, but that's just me. I wish GTA was more Sandboxy, kind of like Saints Row has become. It's like GTA is torn between being a chaotic sandbox and a story driven narrative, and can't decide which to run with. Saints Row on the other hand grabbed the chaos, stole an ambulance, and drove through a playground shotting rockets at children.
