No cross platform support to answer your question. The one thing I have heard is your stats data from PS3 to PS4 won't be lost. Not sure about Xbox yet.

Ok just played Dawnbreaker for a bit without problem incl the visual tweak out.

Man oh man the M2 Slams are sweet; saw a video. What the description means by "tank claymore" is that they stick to things incl walls and go off when an enemy passes within 5 meters. Or if you place them on an enemy vehicle they will detonate when the vehicle accelerates! I noticed this actually trying to place some in front of a friendly jeep and they stuck to it instead but did not know that if that was by design or what. Also not really useful on your own vehicle unless you're into that infantile jihad bs. So it's kinda like C4 without the need for manual activation which is a huge bonus in terms of not getting killed first.

This also means you can place them in shallow water to rape boats such as on Paracel which I actually though of and did try (thanks to BC2 Vietnam) once or twice but was too deep or was just unlucky.

So on Dawnbreaker I put some on a wall by a flag just now and an LAV came up and started firing at me so I put one shell in him then rammed into it pushing him near my Slams for the kill. It was glorious.

Oh also that manually-guided SRAW is also sweet--especially as it's pretty easy to nail and kill helos which are right above you. You know, we all aren't as talented with the RPG...

I've had that unlocked and never even tried it. I love the
different load out options we have now.

I want to play the game but everytime I think about it they push out an update that seems to break the entire game all over again...

I'm on the verge of giving up with this game and doing a Paypal claim to get my money back. Before the update I could always get on a server and it would never crash during the game, it would just crash between rounds.

Since the update, it can take me up to an hour to get on a server, it constantly says disconnected, server does not exist etc etc, and now it's started crashing 10 minutes into a game, repeatedly. I've not played one game today where it's not crashed during the game.

I really am fed-up with this game, it's shortly going to get switched off for good and I'll avoid playing anything by EA/DICE in the future. I've got dozens of games on my PC, none of them crash, just BF4.

Why do I never crash?? anyone here who plays crashless too? Me (and my hardware config) must be very very lucky because so far the game is stable for me, It's as stable any other PC game.

The only problem I have is long loading times, I load like 1-2 minutes into the game whereas on BF3 I loaded in like 15 seconds.

I'd move your game folder to a different spot, restart the download for a few minutes, stop it, and then replace the contents of the new folder with the old, continue install and then you'll be good as gold.

haven't had a crash but its a bit odd to play with no sound, or getting shot and its like a wave hitting the beach. or my player is fucked on LSD, or theres a hundred red dots in random places, or I get sniped from people running with snipers, or its sniper city, or someone shot through 2 walls to kill me, or players aren't even identified as enemy or my own.!!!

nuff said, ghosts was actually better now lol

Servers are bad it seems - either theres a lot more hackers/glitchers or the R10 patch as fucked up synchronization because I keep getting shot from around corners or through walls which shouldnt be happening.

Try running it at stock Frequencies and see what happens. I know the beta hated Overclocked systems. Yeah it may be a little bit of a pain, but I'd try a few things first, unless you aren't really all that interested in playing it. Myself I have had a few weird glitches, but since the first 2 days the only crash I have had is Friday Night when everyone's game and Teamspeak crashed at the same time. But I took my Overclock off of everything prior to playing it on release because of the issues on the beta. I built this to just game on so OCing isn't an issue as long as I can max my games out and get good FPS I'm happy

theres this weird blueish screen shaky buzz thats happening to my screen when I am playing. I've read its an effect when the commander calls an EMP. but It happens very often and I'm not quite sure human eyes get affected by EMPs.

So you do have at least one of the "issues" heh. That's what I call the "visual tweak out" and to me it looks like the suppression effect (no color just a sudden sort of shakey blurring of image) activating at random times. I am not convinced it's map-specific at all yet but I do seem to see it a whole lot less on Dawnbreaker so far (will try again this morn).

yea I get a few different colours distort, its random for sure. haven't played all maps yet, but its nausea inducing on zavod!

I'm glad I read this forum before I tossed my money in the EA direction once again, like I did with BF3.
I put the $109.00 back in my wallet and passed. Yea, I was going to go for the best package too.

Well...I think this is probably the roughest BF launch yet in a history of rough launches...but it will be a great, fun game. Don't write it off totally, just wait.

Still no visual wierdness on Dawnbreaker though I don't really have enough playtime total yet to say for sure that map doesn't do it.

Aside from all the issues, I am enjoying it, and am glad I bought it, it will get better.

I seem to run the game better when I'm not playing with friends. Played 3 hours in the middle of the day without crashing or anything and figured out how to use those battlepacks with boosts etc . I actually had some decent scores in them too, getting into a groove with how many bullets it takes to kill. ACE 23/Galil seems to fit me well.
