I started the first import on sunday, so I guess subsequent ones only pulled in the new posts and missed the edits.

Not easily fixed from my side, should be easy for you, just copy the quoted text and insert into your original post.

Has anyone looked into the mobile theme concerns I had?
 
Couple of things I don't like about the new layout.

First, waaaaaayyyyyyyy too bright. Hurts the hell out of my eyes.
Second, too much wasted space. I'm scrolling forever. Need not only a darker, but a more compact theme option as well.
Third, and most important to me, I'd like to see the recent posts and news boxes back. Those are my primary way of browsing the forums. Without them, I am not likely to visit as often, as I don't like having to dig around for the newest information.

Other than that, I think it's pretty good. Loads fast for me, and other than theme and spacing, the layout is pretty nice.

Same here. I don't want to trawl through individual forum sections, so I'm going to end up missing a lot of stuff I want to see.

I would like to see bolder text and I agree with others that the page color is too bright and is washed out. I liked the old dark Grey color previously used where "User CP" was found.
 
The main forum page is just really long. I have my triple monitors rotated in 1200x1600 format, yet the web page is still more than 3 pages long, because only 11 sub-forums fit on the screen at a time.
 
Also, new posts seem to show up on the page even if you're browsing in the middle of a big thread.

That doesn't happen for me? Which browser are you using? I'm using Chrome.
 
Did we lose PM's in subfolders? I'm not seeing my folders atm- will need to check through the messages to be sure I still have them.

Do we have to call them "conversations"?
 
Dunno if this has been addressed but where's the option to make the pics larger then X over Y to be resized to a fixed max size?

Personally, i found that quite useful.

It looks like they should be there- I found one that used to be in a subfolder. It looks like the subfolders are gone though and I'm not seeing an option to setup new ones?
 
Wow what a change. It is going to be hard for me to get used to this after been here since 2006.

It is a bit too bright as has been already said, and I do miss the new posts box from ye olde forum.
 
Post counts and like counts should be fixed now
 
I have been a member for a long time also, i personally do not like change being forced down my throat. I know that allot of people like the change but i feel as this is a completely new site, i am having issue's doing what has been familiar for 6-7 years. If there is a option to go back i would love to do just that.

Also, the line "Well Known Member" under my avatar appears to have a line on it.

I also lost my location, homepage, "about you" thing and whatnot...

It could be.
And I worked so hard to get my first infraction ever just to lose it in a week or so :ohwell:

Also, man, I seem to have more stars than You, despite You having five times as many posts as I do. lolwut. :laugh:
 
stars are back. not sure yet about the range. they are based on "trophy points".

we can now define almost infinite possibilities for what gives trophy points and how many
