Agreed. I haven't been able to log on in almost a week, so I've probably been raided, however my weapons, ammo, best armor, etc. is on me so I haven't lost that. I'll log in tonight after putting the new CPU in and move to you guys.
Which brings up the question: where are you guys now? I see that nobody has kept up with the map...
 
I don't think anybody knows where my metal base is...nobody is crazy enough to go down there lol.
 
Yeah we can setup a little townish area ove here if some of you want to. I know it would be nice having some friendlies around.

Definitely. Where I'm at now, I've run across a couple of guys who are neutrals (which I don't mind. we're not exactly sharing resources or anything, but we do have a mutual cease-fire), Christmas Luchador who has a base near me and is friendly to everybody (except TG) except when given a reason not to be, and a couple of stray wanderers now and then. I've seen Manney and Guitar down in the area from time to time, as well as PPruBB and a couple of guys whose names I can't remember. That's all fine and good, but when I get chased out of my own damn forest by the TG guys who are treating everyone as KOS... well that's just bullshit.
Really, it seems our best defense against that kind of group would be to do the same thing they're doing: meet up, pool our resources, find a good hidden area and build a shared fortress/town/encampment, and watch each other's backs.
 
Anybody is welcome to build near me, I need neighbors to hold down my base lol.

Thought so. Is it hidden well? Easily defensible?
If so, that's not a far move for me. The only problem is if I've been raided or not. If I have, I have no resources to build a new base, and even if I had the resources, the only metal piece I can make is a door...
 
It's hidden well only because nobody ventures down that way. You have to be either directly on the coast running or run down the entire mountain...which is what I do. I haven't seen anybody over there yet and haven't had anybody break in yet. Not sure how much space there is around me but so far it's been quiet.
 
we really should pool all the tpu guys in one spot. It would make defending easier as well as having friendlies nearby. Tonight I've had groups of guys running around my base talking shit in voice and shooting my walls. lol I don't even want to leave my base tonight.

im guessing they didnt try using C4 last night on it and any ideas who it was
 
I have no idea who it was. They wouldn't say when I asked them. lol

They threatened to use c4 but didn't. Later that night I was in the far back corner of the base and I heard c4 go off. Sounded like the lower side near where they first broke in but at ground level. But I couldn't find any damage and I wonder if they just set it off somewhere close to base just messing around.

I suspect last night it was either that F&CK guy or owap group.
 
Hey guys. I created a website and forums for the game server. Mainly because its a pain in the ass to go around the several forums where some of my player-base resides. To top it off many of the players can't even be contacted when the server is down, updating or whatever.

So I started a website just as a extension of the game server. You don't have to register if you don't want to but you can at least see whats going on. If any of you do decide to register then you can help shape the server, report hackers, exploiters and whatever else is on your mind. In turn I can keep everyone updated easier and it means I wont have to travel around to forums posting the same exact thing each time something is up or a change is being made.

I honestly dont expect much traffic there but I can at least tell the player-base that they have the ability to check the site for info.

Also if anyone has any suggestions please feel free to hit me up, or talk to Unholywar. The site is very basic as I'm just learning how to do this but the forum is pretty robust.

Also I created a private forum for you guys. After talking to Unholywar and realizing that there have been many guests viewing this thread ...seeing your maps etc.. At least on my forum you can have a private area where no one can see what goes on.

of course a mod might be able to do that here for you guys. Just a thought.
 
I might quit, got tired of kill on site while I was harvesting resources at my normal location, and it was such a grind to get it all back up and running again I didn't feel motivated. Also I started making a kickass wood fort in the mountain behind WhiteNoise's metal monster but it ended up clipping the wall just so that I said fuck it after getting killed getting more wood to try again.

Hopefully it will get patched and not everything will drop a chicken breast, why not just say "meat" lol.

Those fucking TG guys...sheesh. They built up that shit way too much. Manney told me it was rubber banding the servery and I noticed it because I'd never seen that before. They're also dicks, which doesn't help the situation.

Are those the guys with the big metal mansion? Shoot on sight with bolt action if you dare take any resources 15 minutes away. Those guys are douchebags.
 
Just a warning...they told me earlier that anyone that enters the valley they are in (hacker valley) they will KOS.

Oh and unholywar we have a new base mate. So if you see someone in the base don't kill him. His name is Lanky. He's staying in my room with me and Lou. I've known this dude for over 10 years and he's cool. Um I don't think he uses or owns a mic though so communicating is a pain in the ass.
 
rust++ 1.5.1 is finally out
 
Well I rebuilt my base the other day and added external walls and spikes in hopes to keep people out while I move but alas I was raided when they took out half the base. How are they doing this? Do they have so much C4 that they do not know what to do with it?
 
Sounds like y'all got a bunch of DayZ 12 year olds with self esteem issues on your server.
 
I wished they would implement storage box combination locks like the doors now have. This would help out with raiders.
