MANY (I suppose that not all) gtx 970's are plagued with an issue that causes your screen to lose display signal when playing anything that's even a little bit graphically intensive, even League of Legends, and the only way to get your screen back is to reset your PC, and if you play again, it crashes again about 10 minutes into every game. It usually starts happening 1 or 2 months after you start using the card. Myself and many others have RMA'd the card only to get one back that suffers from the same problem. I know one person who RMA'd 4 times to get the same crap. There is no apparent fix in sight (I've tried everything). I tried to inform Nvidia about their faulty cards and showed them the links to all the forums about it, only to have them tell me that there are no issues with the card and that they're sorry for my inconveniences (and that of MANY others) which made me really mad. So guys, don't waste your money.

New one to me.

Meh more like a PSU issue, like really 4 rma's same issue sorry bubba sounds like the issue is else were.

What i would like to know is what company gave you 4 RMA's as thats good shit right there.

Seriously, only company I've had that would give me 4 RMA's in a short span of time is maybe MSI, but honestly I make the slightest aggression to their CS and they do anything for me so far. Even without a registered serial.

I want to see all these forum posts the OP mentions where this "issue" has been noted many times...... scaremongering post with nothing to back up the claims the OP has made about said cards or problems.... newly registered user with no post history making wild claims, what's not to believe :wtf:

Post your system specs please. There are oodles of guys using 970's here with no problems. Your post stinks of flamebait so posting error logs from windows etc will help.

Frankly though, I feel you're trolling.

New to me too. The card has been out for months, so if it had really been such a problem, it would have been reported everywhere long ago like the 3.5GB +0.5GB memory mini-scandal.

Assuming this brand new member with one post isn't bullshitting us, is it one particular brand and model of card perhaps?

@lucaspada894 let us know and also supply us with some links to validate your story, please. Also fill in your system specs.

Would you like to substantiate that thin claim with much more relevant detail, then provide some evidence and/or 3rd party verification?

It's a good thing you signed up to tell us bro, nobody on here has gotten a 970 yet. I'm sure everyone will take your warning to heart.

Too late fella, millions sold, zero issues, most popular card of this gen, full f'ing stop.

@dorsetknob I Googled too, but the only crash reports I found were from last May when the card was new, so teething issues like this are to be expected. Nothing more recent of any significance though.

This is looking very much like a troll post. :ohwell:

The only issue my 970s are plagued by are awesome framerates.

I can see the application of the banstick coming on. :p

Does it do this?
