Well, my Mobo died and i can only find this one, GA-H61M-S1 in my country, so i dont have to buy a new cpu, is the GTx 1070 compatible with the mother board or are ther some really big issues i should know?

I have core i7 2600k
Corsair Cx600m
8 GB Ram

Sry if i english is not that good. Thanks

It will work just fine. GA-H61M-S1 has x16 PCIe slot, that's all you need.

same as @FYFI13 only thing i noted was it could have trouble with linux drivers that board but u have a PCI-E x16 3.0 running 2.0 bcs u have a 2600k if u had like a 3770k u would get 3.0 speeds but nuth major performance hit so I will say go got a GTX 1070 myself from MSI their Gaming X it's a nice and quiet card even doing gaming I don't hear it.

There might be an issue using a 1070 with a UEFI bios on an older Motherboard that doesn't have a UEFI BIOS.
Anyone that knows for sure can chip in. I have read of black screens until boot completes.

You most probably will need to update the bios to support the gpu

Bios version - F10b
  1. Beta BIOS
  2. Improve High-End Display card compatibility
Or bios version - F8

  1. Support Secure boot option
  2. Improve PCIEx16 graphic card compatibility
Had issue with friends gpu upgrade from a gts460 to gtx 960 needed an Bios update - also gigabyte 1155 socket ( can't remember model)

Mexico. Aviable yes, worh it, i dont think so i'd have to wait amonth and i need my pc ASAP. I found here a maximum v gene at 252. But at that cost i think it'll be a better idea to buy a cheap one now, start saving some money and in about a year or less upgrade all my rig. Or do you think its tottaly woth that maximum?

Well but anyway. What's your opinion is it worth buying the maximum v gene or better save money and upgrade everything. Thinking about a long termn invesntment that sufices performance and price i use my pc for gaming and 3d work ( also renfering)

The 2600K is still an awesome chip. Especially when overclocked it can hold it's own unless ePeen start into the scene lol.
I'd get the best board and keep going with the same chip till it fries. then look at moving to a new platform
At this point in time I just don't see the value in getting the newer chip and newer board just to gain a few percentage points for a home user. Even still it would still rock for most small business pc's.
As other's have said even the difference from express 2.0 to 3.0 is very minute, but even rendering will still be very good when overclocked.
The Max Gene is an awesome board with that chip it will give you many more years of performance and enjoyment. Chances are it will be far better than the board you had before so performance should be noticeable better
iirc it was one of the best boards Dave tested here for the 2600K, OC'ing really good.
