what is this word mean? halp?

stick it in a bag of rice for a week or so

Just clean it off it should be fine battery banks are usually sealed pretty well. As long as it didn't go for an extended swim it shouldn't be an issue. I left a battery pack on top of my car once and only found it when I came out the next morning after it had been rained on all night. Dried it off, charged it and it worked just fine afterwards.

it was about 1/3rd of a sip's worth of coke... the non diet kind.

Some isopropyl a que tip and rub down should be good.

good, I can easily replace it but would like to know how to fix it for other devices I don't care about.

In my experience Anker are EXCEPTIONALLY good with their customer support. If you are 100% certain your battery pack is borked, Id contact them and explain what happened. Maybe they'll ship you another for free or at a discount.

I dont think people say enough about how good Anker's CS is so I try to give them a shout out whenever I can.

Ok, I'll try thanks

/sarcasm
Just throw it in the microwave to dry it off, I'm sure I'll be fine ;)

Um... add rum. Sip slowly.

SO..., 1st post does not indicate how the spill entered a sealed device.(???) USB ports? Really lacking details.

Rinse (neutralize coke acid) with distilled water? Then dry. Baking soda?

Use a paper towel to wipe off the outside?

If it only got on the case, it's perfectly fine. If it got on the side with all the connectors and buttons, try to clean it up as best you can with rubbing alcohol, let it completely dry, and it will probably be fine.

With lithium batteries of any kind, the important thing is to make sure they don't start getting hot/bulging. If they do, I go full retard on it ASAP (tear into it, physically disconnect the wires, and electrical tape over them so they'll never make contact again then recycle it).

Dry with baking soda? Whaaaaaaa? Rice man, rice. I cant imagine baking soda being an easier or less messy than rice.

Also, details, like ftizy asked about would be great. Did it get IN a port or something? Help us help you by being as transparent as you can about what happened.

Unrelated to the above... does humanity in general stop trying to do for themselves and just run to ask for help before even trying anything or looking it up on their own?????????? I swear so many users never even go through logical thinking (dry it off... give it a day... etc) and troubleshooting.

I did not say dry with baking soda.

Baking soda in mild solution would neutralize COKE acid.

You need to rinse the COKE off in any event.
