Yeah, something like that (CSS filtering). ":has" would solve the problem, but we are not there yet. I will think about staying logged in. Thanks anyway.

oooooh, I did upgrade to XenForo 2.0.3 today. Is the editor laggy again or is it the the overall browsing experience? On the main site too?

PM, forum, so far is the totality of what i have experienced. i have disabled all addons, before posting complaint here.....its juts like with my iphone. when i post or delete text, it laggs, and will "catch up" in a couple seconds., also the pages loading seems buggy too. editing , and general posting

thought i was losing my mind for a second here.


my Screen cap software wouldnt work, so i used my Webcam, you can turn up the volume, and hear me clicking my KB, to delete text, and see it lag. the same goes for Posting text. as well as responsiveness across the board for me. That was just a small example below of what it's like ,but it's definitely different from yesterday

i have already tried the official FF , cant say ive seen the problem yet...will report back if i do. I didnt realize i was running beta, otherwise i would have ruled It out. Hopefully its the cause. I apologize

the post rating system will come with badges that get earned based on post ratings. the system has been seeded with existing "like" data and i've been adding tags to a bunch of threads, which means you got those badges (which i forgot to hide while coding/testing)

Right now it will look at the top 10 for a given tag. best two = guru, next three = master, next five = expert.

sounds about right, dont give good ratings to users with bad answers and give to good answers and the problem will solve itself

I think it's kinda cool. It tells others where we have been most helpful, generally, and let us in on where we have been most active on the site. @W1zzard, I say leave it up. It'll be fun to see how it changes as the information aggregates.

That makes sense. There is also the idea that once someone has earned a badge they should be allowed to keep the recognition. Maybe a tally system to keep record of badges awarded which is differentiated from the ones currently held. That might work well. Just a thought.
