So two weeks ago I got myself a PNY RTX 2060 6GB XLR8 Gaming OC graphics card. The card itself works great, but I am having trouble with one of the fans, at the beginning both fans were working. But after a couple of days, checking with HWMonitor software, one of fans was showing 0 RPM and after opening the case I confirmed that it wasn't spinning. Setting manual fan curve in MSI afterburner also didn't help, only the working fan did react. The graphics card doesn't have idle fan function. Then I disconnecting card and looked over the fan, tried to spin the fan, it didn't show any clear damage.
So I thought then fan is probably dead, but then after 2-3 days it started to work again.. I even checked again, as I didn't believe the software.. But then again today after working 5 days the same fan stopped working.
Any ideas what could cause it? It would be better if the fan died, then I could use warranty to replace the card.. The graphics cards temperatures on-load with one working fan aren't critical max it reaches is 68 Celsius. Not sure what to do.

If setting the fans to 100 % dosen't get both fans running, then RMA.

Well you are probably right i should RMA it. I just hope that when I send it back and they check it, the damn fan won't work.. Otherwise could they say that nothing is wrong with the card and send it back?

SInce both fans were working to begin with then it is not your PC and its settings that prevent the second fan from running. Did you try the 100 %?

Yes, I tried setting fans to 100%, the second fan didn't start spinning. I also tried stress test, card reached temperature of 70 Celsius, and still the second fan didn't turn on..

You could try putting the card on cardboard and gently pressing down on the fan at the center where the bearing is. In case there's a mechanical fault.
Besides this, it would be advised to make a recording of the faulty fan to help the RMA process.

Recording of a non-spinning fan? The first advice is a lot better :D

When the first time I took the card out I tried to gently press down the center of the fan, it didn't help.
And after of couple days it just came back to life and today again it stopped working
The video might be a good idea :D

yes, since he was worried the problem wouldn't show up after sending it back. Murphy's law and stuff, I totally understand his fears.
I know RMA is fairly simple in the US and other countries, but when it comes to my country, they are fairly strict and you have to document everything send links to youtube, record stuff and even include a written fault description.
