I haven't really paid much attention to launches of Ryzen 1000 and 2000 do I don't know when preorders for those along with the new mobos went live. So does anyone know I can start preordering these parts, along with the new PCIe 4.0 NVMes?

I don't think there will be pre-orders, the launch date is on the 7th of July.
Everything should be available at launch.

If that's the case what will be the best place to buy them to get them at launch?

It most likely depends on which planet you live on...
I'm not a mind reader or a telepath, so I really couldn't say.

Just keep checking amazon and newegg (assuming you live in the USA or Canada) each day and hope it's not a paper launch

Google is your friend...but to save you the trouble, here are the popular sites in the UK:
Amazon
Scan
Ebuyer
AriaPC
Overclockers
CCL
Novatech
Box.co.uk

Seriously? Newegg, your local electronic store, amazon, scan.uk, ebuyer... etc.

If finding where to buy a cpu is a problem, you may want to have someone build it for you. :)

What? Listen I'm starting to have a feeling you have something against me for no reason, but I'm able to upgrade my PC myself.

Overclockers uk offers real free shipping if you are a forum member with a desired number of posts, might check that out.

When "should" they? Never. Who's going to dictate to manufacturers that they "should" accept pre-orders? And besides, AMD does not sell directly to consumers so the decision to accept preorders is up to individual retailers, not AMD. And to that, nobody is going to dictate retailers "should" accept pre-orders either.

I am sure there is nothing personal going on here but the reality is, if the questions were realistic, they could be answered by yourself more quickly using Bing Google.

We have nothing against you but if you're more than capable to build/upgrade your own PC then you're more than capable to google all the PC parts retailers in the UK. Or rather you should know them already.
As for the original question, they should all get released on the 7th July with no pre-orders available.

I dont have anything against you. :)

I'm just concerned that if a person doesn't know where to buy a CPU parts or how to figure that out...I wonder if building a PC is in the cards for that type of person. :)

exactly. Dont take it personally.... but feel free to use that thing on your shoulders for something as elementary as this. ;)

its like waiting for a egg to hatch :) , im not planing to upgrade untill after christmas i want to see some reviews off every day people first.

I do know what retailers are avaialbe in the UK, don't know what makes you think otherwise, the thing I don't know is who will be doing pre-orders, that's why I asked here.

Have no idea what on earth what makes you think I don't know where to buy PC parts, I just wasn't too involved with the other two release cycles for Zen and Zen+ so I don't know when and who did pre-orders for those.

Your answer in the thread gave out the impression you didn't know any of the UK retailers hence my post is what it is and how everyone perceived it as.
A bit of forum searching here or even on Overclockers forum or Hexus(Scan uses Hexus) or even Google you can probably see the question has been asked before if there are going to be any pre-orders setup for any of the retailers.

Yes. And you quoted it. "AMD does not sell directly to consumers so the decision to accept preorders is up to individual retailers, not AMD". So check with your local retailers.

Personally I'm looking forward to the launch. Planning to package parts of my current rig as a complete system with a view to offsetting the cost as much as possible...

Me too. While I have nothing against AMD, I generally prefer Intels. But I really like it when AMD releases a product that gets the world's and Intel's attention. It keeps innovation and competition alive and competition is always better for consumers.

We (consumers) need AMD to keep nipping at the heels of Intel and we need Intel worried and needing to keep looking over their shoulders!

I hate to be the bearer of bad tidings, but today it is Intel nipping at AMD's heels...

Dandruff? Why do you have to be so mean?
