What game sequel(s) would you offer up a blood sacrifice...

Would love a Silent Hill sequel or even a complete remake of the first couple.

Core's Tomb Raider: 10th Anniversary Edition (gosh it's gonna be 30th anni soon)
Tomb Raider Angel of Darkness Trilogy
Duke Nukem Forever and Re-loaded (based on original cancelled ideas)
Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes (for switch or next gen Nintendo console)
Too Human (sequel)
Eternal Darkness sequel (for next gen Nintendo)
Amnesia 3
F.E.A.R. (any new fear would do)
Resident Evil (new outbreak game or outbreak remake)
New Red Alert or Tiberian Sun

Dark Cloud/Dark Chronicle. Sony owns the license and Level-5 has tried to convince them to allow development of a third game multiple times in the last decade.

You are my new best friend.

So friend, what do you want for lunch today, my treat.

Dark Cloud is one of my favorite games of all time.

STALKER 2? Not sure how much blood I can offer though. The human body is pretty good at making more of the stuff when it loses small amounts... maybe if I can have a cookie afterwards?

I'd sacrifice my own damn blood for these particular sequels:
  • Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 3 (don't @ me with your filthy TOR);
  • Mercenaries 3 (this was in dev I believe but got shut down);
  • Condemned 3 (the first was really good, the second less so);
  • Total War: Medieval III (I am enjoying the MK 1212 mod for Attila but we could do with a true sequel at this point);
  • Victoria III (we got a CK sequel so this has got to be on the radar surely);
  • The Evil Within 3 (2 went in the right direction imo despite some plot-holes and slightly bad writing, the first game basically put you on rails through endless puzzle systems, not fun);
  • Fallout: New Vegas Remake (not a true sequel per se and God knows the creation engine is a bag of shit but I think people would appreciate this).
And with this sacrifice, let my first TPU post be born. :)

Valiant Hearts. I don't think I've ever been more emotionally invested in a game ever. The ending left me a weeping, sobbing mess. There are so many directions they could go with a sequal as well.

blood sacrifice is a bit excessive I wouldn't mind seeing a sequel of Armored Core by From Software as done in the PS2 era.

Blood for the blood god. No need for a sacrifice but if you can, you could donate blood in your area :)
My list:
Total War: Warhammer 40k(it might happen)
Harpoon 4
Jane's Fleet Command
Dragon's Age and Mass Effect( a proper Origins sequel or prequel without SJW)
Half Life
FEAR
Old flight sims like Enemy Engaged series or Jane's series.
Ground Control

STALKER 2 is being worked on by GSC, i think it has a 2021 release date.

Stalker 2, like it's predecessor, has been in and out of development for a number of years now... I look forward to it with cautious optimism.

A grittier Tomb Raider without the Daddy and emotional issues.

I can't condone killing stuff for games but I'd give a little finger for a really top notch vr version of tron, that game with a button pad ( cant even remember that the consoles name ,intelivision?) really got me gaming, to me pong got shit in minutes but that had depth, lol.

Tie between Alpha Protocol and Populous: The Beginning (Godus disappointed).
LOL! Ford, we might be the only two that see what a gem Alpha Protocol is, because I came into thread to pick it also. :)

Sequel for the first Life is Strange, though the choices from first game would be too affecting for a sequel. Also a sequel for the original Crysis would be cool, of course with the similar HUD and gameplay, not like Crysis 2 and 3.

e: If remakes count, remake from NFS Most Wanted (2005) would be more than awesome.

I would argue that Supreme Commander 2 fills that role quite nicely.

For me though, I wanted to see a Command & Conquer: Generals 2.

SupCom 2 is absolutely good fun but I'd have to respectfully disagree it suffices for a TA sequel, many argue it's an inappropriate SupCom/FA sequel. If anything SupCom 2 is more of an introductory title to larger scale RTS titles like TA, SupCom, PA:T, Ashes, etc. Its too casual and simple, even adding research as a third resource (a good move I felt) is not enough to get it in the same ball park at TA. It'll never happen but a true TA2 would be absolutely epic the way I envision it at least.

Generals 2 would be pretty awesome, though I'd also love to see what someone could do with some additional entries between TibSun and 3. TibSun has been my favorite in the series, I'd love to see more grit and aftermath in the original C&C storyline.

That's valid. Honestly SupCom2 feels exactly like TA to me, just with a newer engine and better graphics (for the most part,) to be honest. That was good enough for me though. I don't, however, think that TA is more complicated than SupCom2. I think they're about equal.

Crash Team Racing. Wouldn't mind a new and modern Crash game altogether.

Obligatory Half Life 3, but we all know that is never coming out.

Warcraft 4, but considering how much WoW fucked up the storyline, I'm not getting my hopes up.

Syphon Filter. The franchise has been dead for a long time now, doubt we'll ever see anything from it.

Diablo 4. it's coming, but god knows when. Late 2021 at best is my guess. But that's just me being optimistic.

Grim Dawn 2. Crate Entertainment have been very quiet in the last couple of months, and the game is basically in maintenance mode. Could be that they've already started to work on their next game. But we don't know if it'll be GD2...

Red Alert. But more like 2 and less like 3.
Hell, I'd even settle for a Yuri's Revenge remaster.

Need For Speed Underground 3. And make it true to its roots. None of this modern NFS crap that EA has been dishing out since Carbon.

There's probably more, but these are the first that come to mind.

Warcraft 1 actually had a really good story, as did Warcraft 2 and the expansion. I would totally be happy with a modern remake of those on a modern engine with modern graphics.

good choice my man!

I was going to say another Homeworld game but I just saw last month that a new Homeworld game is coming out

I want proper Command and Conquer 4 not that abomination they make and calling it CnC4. They have such good cliffhangar in CnC3 Kane's Wrath, why don't just continue from there? Hell just make anything CnC based (Red Alert, Generals, Tiberium whatever) because I miss a decent RTS.

I want interactive installer Westwood used to have while they at it, something like this
