Hi guys,

I know the issue is not new and a lot of you have encountered it in different cases, but after reviewing the threads i found about this issue my problem is not solved yet.

The story is i had an old PC with RX 570 4G installed in it and was working fine.
Bought another PC and after installing my card in it and trying to setup adrenaline latest driver I found that the driver after restarting is giving me an error message that there is no AMD graphic card is found, checked device manager and found that yellow mark with the error 43 in the properties.

Untill now all are fine, after Googling the issue i came up with two steps to take, the pixel patch and bios flashing, patch didn't change anything, and coming to the bios I flashed wrong one with different clock 1500 instead of 1750 which leaded with a bricked card. Got another GPU to boot the PC and flashed another stock bios with exactly the same specs matching my device and the card returned alive, but with the same error 43.

At this point I noticed something weird that ATI flash is recognising my GPU as "ATI Polaris 10" not RX 570 or even ATI polaris 20 XL as my card original state.
And this is the core problem I think that patch or bios flashing wont work to fix my problem.

Need help please ASAP.

Thanks in advance.

Need detail specs of the old system if you still have it and the new system.

Also specific brand/model# of rx570 (get white sticker picture from card back or side of card heatsink) also since flashing wrong bios you will need to remove hard heatsink and get a physical picture of ram chip info.

Pull the card, clean the pcie slots out using a spray co2 duster or spray electronic grade contact cleaner (power supply fully unplugged from wall&unplugged from motherboard) clean the pcie edge on the gpu using contact cleaner or at least 70 isopropyl alcohol.

Thanks for you reply.

Will post full specs for old, new system and a pic of the sticker on the back of the card once I get home.

Hi again,

Old PC specs

Core 2 quad 9650

New PC specs

Core I5 4570 3.2 ghz

Any news ?!

Do you still have the old system because im going to say what is the specific model number of the power supply and same with your current one.

Yes I still have the old system and it's power supply is bronze 80 plus 475 watts.

I can't recognise the new system's power supply specific model but I will attach a picture for it.

And the issue is persist with old system as well after it happened with the new one

Search for: atikmdag-patcher-1.4.6

This will solve the code 43 issue.

Wrong, if the stock bios doesn't clear it the card is screwed up.
I did not say 10/10...
The patch cannot fix a screwed up card, but most of the times when the card is not screwed up error 43 is fixable

Yup and best fix is the default bios due to memory timings being unmodified.

Second hand cards are often modded for mining. It used to be in high demand during the golden age of mining.

Yes I know that, been restoring them for users here left right, center.
