Hello!, I use a Dell G7 7588 laptop with an i7-8750H and a GTX 1060 Max-Q that I got back in 2018. Recently when I play games I notice a great decline in the processor's clock rate where it freezes at 800Mhz and like 10Watts TDP making any game unplayable. Additionally, When I run the TS Bench or Cinebench R20 the TDP rises to like 70 Watts and then it throttles at 2900Mhz and 44.5 ~ 45W TDP and limits windows show PL1 and EDP Other in constant red color. Of course, thermals are a major problem for me so I undervolted both the cache and the core to a -125mV but it didn't help much with either the throttling or the thermals. For the record I use ASUS GPU Tweak software because for some reason the GPU thermal throttles at 77 Celsius which didn't happen before. I tried to increase the Turbo Boost Long Power Max to 55 but it didn't work. Is there any solution for this?.
PS: The CPU ran fairly and didn't throttle when I shut down the ASUS GPU Tweak software. But, now I get 99 Celsius constantly on games like No Man's Sky and Remnant: From The Ashes. Also the throttling is still there when using CinebenchR20. Tried to disable the Turbo Boost but the temps are still about 85 ~ 90 and the GPU is like 90 ~ 95. Any solutions?
