Canadian socks dont have arch support!

On another note: I just replacedupgraded my USB extension cable from 2.0 to a 3.0 which included a power only socket on it.
They're the kind I like!

I was hoping to buy a GPU RTX3060Ti , but and a bit to much $$ for me and very hard to get
Monitor is a sure thing , this Iiyama 26" BULK monitor has seen its time for a main monitor..

New monitor to replace my frankenmonitor. Maybe I'd go with 144Hz 1080p like AOC 24G2. At first Im thinking of upgrading GPU but ray tracing performance still lackluster, plus not that much game support it still.

I upgraded my computer desk as a early Christmas present.

I've managed to get my hands on a nice RTX 3070, which replaced my old GTX 1080. But that happened at the end of November, so that was a VERY early Christmas present.
Very nice card, by the way and I'm very pleased with the upgrade! :D

Bit of a odd one, I wanted a GPU and probably would have spent my money by now but stock = 0 so I went mad on an auction site instead and have a Radeon 7 for £210 notes on the way as a fallback plus enough other parts for two PC's.
Technically I only went to the auction to find a cheap mobo and CPU for my nephew but couldn't help myself I have three mobo, two CPU(3400g ,3100), two GPU (I got what I think is a p2000 quadro for£50) a PSU some fans and a roccat aimo keyboard on the way ,all possibly broken or not, fixable or not , I'll have something to do at least.

GPU prices are insane so no upgrade for me.

Probably going to get a 3080ti and put an optimus waterblock on it.

Upgraded my fast storage from an aging 525GB Crucial MX300 to two 1TB MX500s in a striped array.

I wanted to upgrade my 2700X with a 5900X, but with the actual supply/demand I decided wait a few months.

Hi,
Funny new years upgrade will likely be around April/ June 2021 when maybe stock and prices settle down where they should be and not where gougers want them to be.

Well, since new GPU is out of the question because of crazy prices and zero availability, also my old 1080 is still holding well so I didn't buy anything this year. My bro bought me a Logitech X52 Pro HOTAS to replace my old and worn out Logitech Wingman Attack2 from 2006.

Nothing because I cant get anything

Nothing, because I learned to appreciate what I have, instead of what I would want. Games just like any other hobby are subjective. Acquiring sharper resolution to experience more detailed terrains and smoother cinematic experience isn't going to suddenly convert absolutely garbage story into marvelous and compelling adventure. And story is my primary priority followed by whatever the gameplay is.

I was thinking of grabbing a 6800 to replace my Vega 64, but between the top high price and the lack of stock, I’m thinking now I’ll keep the Vega one more generation. I wanted 2080ti performance for &500, and the 6800 comes SO close.

Only thing I might get this year is a proper computer desk, my current one is technically a 50 year old letter desk. Or I may build one, I have enough wood to do so.

Going to hold onto the 9700k for a few more generations.

I did upgrade to a sabarent rocket 4 plus from my 256gb 950 pro, that went into a pc for my father to play early 2000s games.

Nothing - it's impossible in Poland to buy any new GPU. RTX's 3070+ are either completely unavailable, available for preorder at €150+ above MSRP arriving weeks after paying for the order (people still haven't received day 1 orders) or available at retail with price of an ebay scalper. Odering RX 6000 series right now makes no sense right now. RX 6800 models are priced the same as 3080 AIB's (ca. €900+) and 6800 XT's cost as much as AIO models of 3080's (ca. €1100+), with even greater availability issues.

Update:
I just checked pricing of 3080's and they're up by at least €100 since last Friday.
X-kom - none of them are available for order

Morele.net - all of them as preorders with no estimate of availability.

Predatory capitalism is the best.

Whole pc, only way to get a new GPU :(

Update ,oh dear, the two cpu are straightened up and work well a b450 gaming f works and three fans ,two mobos, the p2000 and the radeon 7 are code 43 ing, soo
I've got my hands full of shit again lol, I was going to bake the GPU but realised work will let me use the rework station they have so when im there next ill do the radeon first, ill show you why im bothering, it's ridiculou, i swear i can see bumps.then ill look at the motherboards, and the keyboard works fine no problems I like it.
