Help - USB DAC drops out after resuming from sleep

Well i just retested mine which is connected via a USB C from PC to the DAC and sleep mode works, sound works when resumed from sleep. Mine could be also using USB 2 though even though it is connected to the C port as the connector on the back of the DAC is not a 3 port.

Shame they did not implement it properly on yours. Glad you got yours sorted even though you were an ass to me.

Thanks. Well I wouldn't say I was being an ass but it was definitely a prickly disagreement. It happens.

USB C cables (A-C and C-C) can be USB 2.0, 3.0/3.1(5Gb) or 3.2 (10Gb)
Royal PITA

My pixel phones came with A to C and C to C cables, yet all are USB 2.0 - which could be a boon for devices like this, or a negative for anything else (like when i tried to use them with my switch and S22U for HDMI/DP out)

Phones themselves are usually limited to USB 2.0, so no real surprise there :(

My port is definitely USB C 3.2 it's either 3.2 Gen2x2(whatever that is) or just 3.2 Gen2 Ihave it in the Audio USB type C but don't know if that is the Gen2x2 or Gen 2

Pretty sure the USB C on s20 up are USB 3

Not all - mines got 10Gb/s USB 3.2

still came with 2.0 cables in the box, even the C-C
-.-

Flagship phones are USB3 capable for years if use a decent maker not China toyphones.

Makers really seldom package USB3.0 cables as such, there were rare exceptions, one being Sony C-C shipped with AT51 and some obscure HMD Nokia A-C. Modern C-C cables have additional PD wire for current transfer in fast charging modes(whatever it may use), the additional lanes needed for data are gimped and pretty much unneeded for domestic user.

Yeah, if you but a $1,000+ phone, it will probably come with something better than USB 2.0. Still the vast majority don't.
And not packing a proper USB 3 cable with a USB 3 capable phone is very, very lame.
