Resizable BAR for older GPU's

Anyone know if resizable BAR will work on older gpu's? I've got a 1060 6gb and if it worked on my gpu it could extend it's usefulness until supply returns to normal for the newer cards.

Only works on Nvidia 3000 (eg 3060ti) series and later and with Ryzen 3000 series cpu's and later. Not sure about intel requirements (10th gen and later I think) or AMD gpu requirements.

I'm an nVidia customer but they have, like MSFT and others, done some documentable evil things in the market.

I'm no fanboy I'm just reciting facts. YOU are the one who brought up that I was only bashing nVidia. That's your opinion. Whatever.

4GB GPU minimum for AMD

No need to get angry over this, it's like HAGS, it will not change the user's experience in most cases. Older GPUs are already well optimized for the traditional BAR size, and even on newer cards ReBAR support is usually not globally enabled, as it can show performance regressions in some games.

Besides, unless you have a RTX 20/30 series or RX 6000 series GPU, your card is already missing at least some current graphics technologies due to being downlevel hardware, so ReBAR is probably the least of your worries. This includes RX 5000, RX Vega and the rapidly aging GTX 10 series GPUs.
