I just finished my new build, lifting it made me struggle so I chack it.
Friggin 21.4kg (47lb).
So I wonder, how much your box (no peripheral) put on?

You can choose multiple answer if you have more than 1 rig.

I have no idea how much my machine´s weight in at. But it´s heavy as hell. Well what can you exspect from a dual system full of big aircoolers and a lot of other stuff like HDD, fans and so on.

I would guess in the area of around 30 kg to 35 kg is not a under estimation.

I don't have a scale but it's gonna be heavy for sure.

How much does a hard drive weigh? when my build's done it's gonna have 12 drives in it, just... imagine the amount of cables. Let's say 680g each that's over 8kg in drives alone, I'm taking 1TB WD blues for reference. Case is 11kg by itself, at least that's what the box says.
There's room for 6 more drives but the cages will get in the way of the graphics cards so I won't be able to use them, shame. Could build a small NAS with older parts if I need the extra drives though.

Before starting I'll need to swap the mobo and CPU, I really can't go for Intel as it's really expensive so I'll try to pick up an used Threadripper, at least a 1st gen I don't need that much cores I just need the board and enough PCIe lanes to drive 3 graphics cards.

Mine weighs only two hands, three hands would be awkward.

Mine feels like 50lbs lol but probably only 30-40.

Enough water will put it over 100LB :)

no stone for the UK?? ;)

MY case with all the parts in my PC easily weighs over 55 lbs considering the case alone is like 40.

Wanted to add options:
- Don't know, it is too heavy to safely lift it.

- Don't know, I don't have weigh-scale :)

I can't add those to the main poll now so thumb up here if you will.

That's a really good question. I haven't tried to move it since nearly killing myself moving it from my workbench to my desk...a whole 6 feet. It surprised me in a bad way.
28lbs empty, 3 rads and water, then fans, mb, gpu etc... I'd guesstimate at least 50lbs.

mines this heavy,

make your guesses, i carnt lift it to weigh it . it's the rbg which makes it weigh more :) .

And it's open frame isn't it?

My case have no water, but the sound deadening from 4 sides make up for those lost kg. The case by itself is 13.5kg (30lb) for a mid tower size.

Hi,
Just have to go with very heavy on all three builds

44-55lb

its a Thermaltake P5, yes open and closed at the same time there's a 2 inch case where the hds and wires go at the back.

Oh boy. I have no banana for scale ;), but I would guesstimate in the ballpark of 35kg. GPU alone is probably 5kg with that full cover EK waterblock, front and back.

Hi,
Yeah I'd be well over 100lbs if I counted my cherry entertainment center as it's computer case which technically it is but weighing it would be even more complicated than the almost conventional other two builds are which are also complicated on how to weigh them both :cool:

Yep not sure if they get heavier or I'm getting weaker

Between my back and my knee and sometimes my hip it's all downhill from here :D

I think I will have to re check it, the case itself is 8 kg according to the manufacturer and then the scale showed barely 11 kg for the full system with 6 fans, 2HDD, not too light GPU + everything else so I have my doubts.
That and it felt heavier than my 1 hand dumbell thats currently loaded with 15 kg. 'or I'm just weaker in the morning when I checked '

Feel free to correct your vote.
It is funny to see this heumen-mechanic dynamic regarding weight :p

IIRC correctly, my TT900's shipping weight was ~68lbs, but of course that included the massive box & packing materials. However, once I completed my build in the garage, I was straining to move it to the office 10 ft away, and I am certainly no weakling when it comes to lifting strength....so I would estimate the final weight as ~100lbs

OTOH, my mini-me box weighs about 3lbs, including the 4tb external m.2 sitting on top of it, so it's a little easier to handle..

My heaviest was my X58 rig, SLi 580s, bunch of Raptors, in a big Stacker with wheels, made my hernia flex before I got it fixed :D

It was heavy, could make you fart when you picked it up.
