What are you playing?

Just curious what everyone is playing currently.

I've just started The Witcher having owned it for a while. It's actually pretty interesting so far and I'm not an RPG guy (I did complete Skyrim). About 5 hours in and I think I'll finish it...maybe. Then the usual like CS:GO and L4D2. I've also been playing some Breaking Point (Arma 3 DayZ) but it is nowhere near as good as the original mod.
Been playing the PC version of Days Gone, found it super cheap at CDKEYS. It's a great story campaign so far :) And Star Citizen, when it actually works!

Oh man... D IV. The last, way past due chance for Blizzard to redeem itself. Tall order, that... I hope they make it happen, but... I fear they're too deep in corporate bullshit land.

I mean sure I understand the concern but you know me I'm a rather simple person in that regard and I don't have high or 'unrealistic' expectations and pretty much don't care about any of that corporate crap or whatever is behind the scenes. 'most bigger corporations/dev teams are no saints anyway..'
As long as I get about the same fun out of the actual gameplay like I get from D3 even after almost 11 years its fine with me.

Basically I'm just looking for my next Diablo journey and my go to ARPG fill for the coming years.:)
Since the beta is only ACT 1 and up to level 25 + 1 world boss to kill its about enough to get the general feel of how the game plays and maybe checking the performance too.
Gameplay feel and end game is important to me so I won't be able to properly judge the game until its fully relased and I have a max level char.

Either way I will report back from the beta with that limited experience.

yeah, definitely not for me. just looked at some of the Steam images. I don't do horror games. im just going to chill with some stardew valley tonight

i got some villagers i want to go say hi to, and flirt with ladies who will never love me, just like irl LOL
well ... The Chant is not really scary ... (at least for me ... anything i know not being real does not affect me ... which is a condition induced by my hyperlogism and lack of abstract thinking comprehension, i was diagnosed with Asperger syndrom 16years, or so, ago...)

well ... try Resident Evil VII.I.age i has a lot of VII.I.agers to say hi (actually not a lot ... situational condition in effect i guess  ) and ladies to flirt with

I finished Cyberpunk 2077 like a month ago, and try like most of the ending. All I can say is the game really depressing which ending you choose. I hate that kind of game where you can't continue after it ends, instead it just continue before you done the point-of-no-return thing.

Replaying Metro Exodus. Last time I try to maxed it out using GTX 1070 with ray tracing on it only gives 15-20fps lol. With 3080 I can even forgo DLSS and still hit triple digits at 1080p. It still looks astonishing. IMO it's the best DLSS implementation of any games, looks great and doesn't look horrid.

Let's hit 100% on Final Fantasy X-2. Having a guide next to me on laptop to show what I'm missing, shows that I'm currently at 98.6% with NG+.

Alan Wake is having one heck of a job finding his wife, so I'm hoping they'll be reunited at some point :)

I see often people using laptops, but why not a tablet instead (like i do) ?.. 8" is enough.

i do play my PS/PS2/PSP games on my phone (6.62") and played on tablet (10.3") although Laptops ... well i do have a 15" or something ... never tried to put an emu on it ... as it have a 4th gen i7 with IGP ... maybe i should, just for fun

as for your question ... well, different peoples different need/preferences :D

oh wait ... @Kissamies mentioned guide ... aaaahhh yeah ... i see why ... well myself i use my HTPC on a 32" TV to show guides and walktrough when i need it ... i should use my laptops or netbook or phone for that instead ... more efficient

To use laptop aside desktop just to have access to a walktrough, that's what it is about, not to play :)

Tablet is more appropriated !

yeah i edited my post in between xD but a laptop is like a tablet when it's on battery ... thus it is appropriate too ;)

I felt the same after finishing Cyberpunk earlier this year, I got one of the worse endings and yeah that kept me thinking for days and even tho I was planning to play again after the point of no return save I just couldn't and needed a break from the game.

Metro Exodus is something I also wanted to replay ever since I have my 3060 Ti cause the first time I played/finished it I had a RX 570 so I had to make some gfx sacrifices obviously. 'game still looked good even on mix of medium-high settings'

Alan Wake is having one heck of a job finding his wife, so I'm hoping they'll be reunited at some point :)

This is also something I should play one day, got it for free on EPIC I think and since I did finish Control+DLCS playing this game would be helpful to get some answers and such.

what app did you use for phone/tablet? just curious
PPSSPP Gold (bought the premium one after 2yrs with the ads free , free one to support the awesome dev behind it, which is also the dev behind my favorit Android DAW app, Phoenix Studio which is totally free and devoid of ads) for PSP, FPse for PS and AetherSX2 for PS2

Sorry, my A2-Core won't be able to use this emus :p

yeah ... i can see why, my current phone has a SD888 5G which is golden for that usage, but my tablet had a Helio G80 which was barely enough for FPse and PPSSPP but not for AetherSX2

an Exynos 7870 wouldn't cut the mustard for that

thank you, I may give this a go. I recently bought this for my phone, so I may give it a go now :D hopefully it will let me map the buttons or show up automatically with my ds4 controller

i have a MOGA XP-5X with phone holder and a MOGA pocket for that, i can't handle antiergonomic controller (at least for me the PS dualshock layout is ... )
PPSSPP Gold is the most awesome one ... no issues with remapping controls with any controller used (from the MOGA to bog basic XBOX 360/Microsoft Recon passing by Turtle Beach Recon.)

Are the triggers analogic ?.. or only buttons
on the XP5-X the trigger are analogic, on the Pocket ... dunno

on the DS4 they should also be analogic

i also use a GPi case (with a Raspberry Pi Zero W ) for PS (and previous gen consoles ) games (Gameboy form factor FTW, with 2 front and 2 back buttons more )

I started playing the new Lego Star Wars with my daughter and I must say it is totally enjoyable. Feels like a Nintendo Game on the PC but that is not a bad thing and the story and some of the lines are verbatim.

I use that laptop almost entirely for just checking game tips and walkthroughs. I see no use for a tablet, at least not currently as I have other stuff to buy first.

Also got that 100%, just need to finish this run to get the perfect ending.

Believe it or not, I still play BF3. Also playing Far Cry New Dawn now (late but I didn't have lots of time to play games for about 2 years and really just getting back to them after completing the new build). I have a few other games I will eventually get to, including replaying some old games. I really like FPS games.

Metro Exodus
Far Cry 6
Crysis 3
Batman Arkham City

I replayed BF3 single player campaign a couple months ago. Was awesome. Holds up well.
