Hey, I'm there too! :laugh::roll:

Ghetto Mods & Windows 11 General Discussion.

I think the highlight was the VBIOS database!

@W1zzard & Crew,
I think I can safely speak for most of the users here when I say the internet would very much be a lesser place if TPU was not a part of it!
Thank You for making it great!

Allow me to tip a glass your direction! :toast:
Cheers mates! :rockout::peace::lovetpu:

LOL, LTT is just clueless

I have had Titan X Maxwell, 1080Ti, 2080Ti, 3090 and all of them have 1000W Bios flashed

Pretty much all Nvidia best GPU have XOC Bios with 1000W PL

Ah yes, LTT, the final authority on computer hardware or the internet. Linus, truly the grandfather of computer hardware on the internet, and w1z finally has his blessing. Maybe now w1z can be free to do his own thing other than serving The Great LTT, living in His shadow, with nothing but breadcrumbs from the table of the Prophet to sustain him. Tell us, w1z, how does glory taste?

Express way to kill your cards, btw. RIP my original Titan, in the name of science.

1000W BIOSes for 3090's are worthless unless you have one of the models for which they were designed, though... no luck with mine, even if for some quick benching.

All unlocked BIOS delivered lower performance in real life scenarios. Doing it ain't reasonable.

I'm not sure if this is sarcasm or you just being ass... if the former, all is well and good... but if the latter you need to lighten up, I just thought it was neat to see my name there on a video that will probably get a million views, I don't actually care. I just thought it was neat, that is all.

Many like to tinker, lots of things we do is not reasonable, like my frankenstein laptop mod...

Oh all my cards still live, even the Titan X Maxwell (sold it to some dude years ago and he just messaged me asking for some advices)

3090 actually benefit the most from XOC bios because it's not voltage limited, other GPU already hit max voltage with normal BIOS, like the 4090

But yeah I use XOC for some overclocking benchs only, i run daily overclocked+undervolted since Titan X Maxwell

None of the higher PL ones work with the ASUS TUF OC sadly. Shunt readings are all wrong and clocks are terrible.

I had the 3090 TUF OC too, got 23k Graphic in timespy with the XOC bios :D
Clocks are steady 2145-2160mhz

Yes the power reading is wrong because the TUF only has 2 power plugs, so it duplicate power reading from plug#1 as plug#3 (which doesn't exist), I got software reading of 750W during the benchmark run but in actuality it's using 520W (also the maximum for 3090 with 3 plugs)

well we had Der8aur and Jacob Freeman making some comments here in TPU :D

We were in a LTT video like, two years ago. This isn't new news.

Yeah, the good old TPU bios page.

Takes me back to 2004 when I was flashing my Radeon ATi X800 Pro to XT. I used just about every bios on the X800 XT bios page.

Then a few years later the Radeon HD6950 to 70.

Ahhh yeah those were the days : )

I still have a fully functional 6950 I flashed to a 6970. As I recall that only worked on reference GPU'S then AMD began laser cutting the dies to stop folks from doing flash.

What is this sarcasm you speak of?

It's the former.

And by here he was referring to Matthew 15:27

Linus is only the face of the company. His team is clueless. He just shows up and reads a script these days.
Probably but,
I'll give the guy credit as he really is one of the first, if it not the first, of the PC tech reviewers who turned himself into a brand and I find his act at least entertaining the few times I have watched it (and it has been a few) compared to most of the crap that's on youtube. He does know his stuff although how many reviews can you possibly post online about marginal improvements, paper launches, "how to build" videos., etc.,etc

Honestly, LTT does a much more valuable service than they're given credit for. Their videos function as a bridge between the nerd realm (ours) and the normie realm (people at large). Even his videos about things that we would consider niche, such as old Apple servers, gather millions of viewers that wouldn't spare a minute towards these things otherwise. I must admit, that is freakin awesome.
