Although the prices of 1080Ti, 5700XT are quite attractive, I would sell my soul to the greens again for a 4060.
It's not the fastest but having tried the DLSS/FG, I would take them over a slightly faster gpu.
With correct settings, you can easily achieve 60-70fps in any game, so adding DLSS/FG creates a decent experience.
Also, if I were buying a 4060, it would be for a project like the below.
