Hey guys, perhaps some of you experience this.

recently, Ive got HP Elitedesk mini PC (free or gift from cousin)

All working fine and dandy...

However, I noticed that I cant use my keyboard for accessing bios or even changing boot me. Have to wait until OS is loaded

Keyboard is Kemove Snowfox and have USB cable via usb-c. Tried to use different usb cable but still not working.

I have no issue accessing bios on my desktop using this keyboard.

Any ideas?

TIA

Solve: Apparently disabling the N-Key rollover function or even switching to either NKRO or 6KRO.

Any mod kindly close this thread

Is the your keyboard connected to a USB 2.0 or 3.0 port?

It would just be a option in the bios depending on the generation that has not been enabled for keyboard to work before OS loads.

The OP noted it is connected via USB-C.

But I suspect Shou Miko is on the right track. When trying to access the BIOS Setup Menu, try using a keyboard that connects to a standard USB port. With older systems, this may even mean a USB 2.0 keyboard in a USB 2.0 port. This, of course, is contrary to the very definition of USB - they are not always "universal" or forwards and backwards compatible. :(

Do note in even older systems, it is sometimes necessary to use a PS/2 keyboard.
