Hi. Recently i bought really cheap gtx 970 gigabyte twin turbo. The card is working on system but when i try to open some games it crash black screen and i cant do nothing. The card is crashing after about 5minutes of playing. I read on forums that this card have problem with overheating vrm's, is it true? Or maybe someone have a solution for this .

Have you monitored the temps on the card?

yea. the card have abour 65 in furmark. i didnt checked vram temp because i dont know which program show it. i've already tried:
downgrade drivers
custom and other bios
cleaned and new thermalpads
undervolting and underclocking

So the card is new to you.

What is your PSU? Does it have enough amps? Its more important than watts, IMO, when you select a PSU.

the psu is forton green power ax550-60apn
the specs says:

If I am reading that correctly, its 12v1 @ 18A, I am pretty sure your power supply does not supply enough amps for your system. I had a similar issue with my old Asus 970 Turbo. I was using a ThermalTake TR2 600w PSU, and it would just reboot the system or lock up after about 10 minutes or so.

Would need more information regard the rest of the system. But I believe it could just be a weak PSU.

A 40 EURO PSU...

I'd say throw it in the bin and buy something decent like Seasonic, Be Quiet! or Enermax, FSP.

i have in my wifes pc a aerocool kcas 700w psu will it be ok for this?

If you the option to pick up or try another PSU. One with a larger 12V rail, I would test it. I know your PSU says 550W, but looking at those MAX 336W rating, I believe that will be your culprit.

ok so i checked other psu 800w aerocool kcas and its still the same. i can play low spec games like league of legends but whenever i try something more needed like cs2 or battlefield 1 the card goes black and monitor show no input. but the game is still running. i can move and shoot and i hear it

Well, it appears you know what your doing, but I have to ask.

Have you tried a different port on the graphics card?

Have you tried a different cable?

Does it do the same thing on your wifes computer?

yea i checked all the ports and other cables already. When i install gpu in my wifes pci which have msi h310pro m2 plus and i3-9100f it dont show anything, just black screeen, not even boot in to system

ok now on wifes pc it showing msi boot logo then load something and black screen . is it possible that it wont start because i have installed gtx 1060 driver on wifes pc?

ok i swapped my disk to wifes pc and it started up and the same issue again.

sounds like the card is in need of repair. reballing the core or something, I am not sure at this point.
