Ni No Kuni Wrath of the White Witch ($7.49)

or

Kena Bridge of Spirits? ($15)

any thoughts?

Had a play of Kena and it's pretty good, can't say about the other one.

You can always buy and try for less than 2hrs, see if you like them, then refund if not.

I would recommend Project Wingman, currently $6 at CD keys. Essentially a low budget Ace Combat clone, largely made by a team of 3. Keep in mind it is an extremely low budget game made by a tiny team. It is decently fun, even if production values like voice acting isn't good. It also supports VR and works quite well with it for extra immersion. Developers are slightly upgrading graphics currently.

I would recommend Ace Combat 7 over it as it isn't that much more money and is a AAA game, but for $6 Project Wingman is also fun.

I don't recall seeing this in my first play through but it looks like they adding some impressive looking cloud reaction to large explosions.

Sadly, discount only applies to standard, deluxe looks full price. And yes, just noticed switcher myself and picked GOG instead of Steam. Guess that's sth you have to pay attention to using Fanatical.

There's a problem with the Steam deluxe version. Click on deluxe, select GOG & your eye's will light up. Trust me, you will certainly buy it now when you see the price.

Great deal here. $7 for the complete Shadow of Mordor and Shadow of War games. so $3.50 each basically. not bad. includes all DLC for both.

Shadow of war is very useful for it's In-built benchmark LIVE "frame time graph". What you want to see is a flat line at 4K,. no sudden spikes with max video settings. Very few games has this built-in feature.

all time low price of $2.24

highly recommend.

STAR WARS Jedi: Fallen Order (2019) is currently enjoying a 90% discount at Steam:

bringing it from $40 down to $4 through May 13th. The Deluxe Edition is $1 more.

The Deluxe Edition has a couple of cosmetics, a digital artbook, maybe something else. Not sure the bundle is worth $10 (normally priced) but for one extra buck, why not?

Braid Anniversary Edition is finally up for pre-order and discounted 50% off (this might because I own the original Braid, YMMV) $9.99, I am buying it, the first Braid looks so beautiful on Steam Deck.

Mass Effect Legendary Edition (2021 4K remaster of original trilogy) is now 90% off until May 13th on Steam:

bringing it down from $60 to $6 -- so two dollars per game.

PCGamer has a performance tuning guide for the remastered trilogy:

which I will definitely consult after my download is complete.

for that price I can't afford NOT to get Mass Effect. Grabbed it! Thank you!

Many Star Wars titles have been deeply discounted for Star Wars Day ("May the 4th"). You can see Steam's discounts here:

Old game enthusiasts should take particular note of Star Wars Jedi Knight II - Jedi Outcast (2002)

which has an 89 rating at Metacritic. This game is currently $2.49, a 75% discount from its normal $10.

wow.. jedi fallen order is $4

Yep, I thought the same and grabbed Andromeda too! :)

I believe this is an all-time low for Andromeda, nice find. Just nabbed it myself. Almost nabbed it on winter sale when it was $8, but I was like nah needs to come down more, its so damn old.

lets hope Jedi Survivor is $4 in another year or 18-24 months, I am in no rush! Hopefully it will get a little more polish between now and then too (though I doubt it, I think they stopped working on this game fully if I am not mistaken?)

It's not the first time it is 5.99 on Steam and it was sub 4 on GMG at some point.
Even at that price, I'm just not sure if it's worth the time, and my time is worthless.

I played it briefly at a friends after it had its final patch a long time ago, and I enjoyed it personally. Everyone likes different things.

Loved that one in high school. Might just gift it to myself.

I would rather wait for Fanatical Star Wars collection to go down...as it goes from 85~99% discount from time to time...

I am very grateful to Andromeda, only because it was the first Mass Effect title I played and I therefore thought it was fairly good but the important thing was it got me into ME 1 -3, at which point I realised why so many ME fans disliked it, which actually worked in my favour as a 2017 game purchased in 2019 is not normally discounted on Steam for £4.99

I haven't played any of them yet outside of a few minutes on ME 1 and Andromeda. Maybe I will do it this way too, start with Andromeda.
