This only applies to driver version 2.17.008; in version 2.40.0019 everything remains as expected. Fast startup is always disabled.

Hello! I have installed 2.40 to work with Fatality Titanium 0880 model on 23H2 . MB MSI Z590
Thanks my BSODs finished. But i have a questions:
1) SPDIF dropdown at the start of playing anything from silence, its like down to sleep or something, after 1 sec playing normally.
2) Test AC3 plays Front Right Left, Left surround , Right surround only, there is no Center and SUB.

My goal is passthrough mode AC3 5.1 via TOSLINK from software mediaplayer MPC audio renderer to my hardware speaker Echo Studio.
The options Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device and give exclusive mode applications priority are ON

BTW : by default this sound card works out of the box and named "HIGH DEFINITION AUDIO DEVICE" - also only playing Front Right Left, Left surround , Right surround without center and sub - with digital distortions.

Hi, recently i was able to get my hands on the creative X-Fi Titantium SB0880. Currently, im running windows 10. i was wondering what drivers i could install to get the sound card working as ive heard several opinions on its support by the devs.. Can someone help me out?

If you haven't already. Open Control Panel and click on Sound then select your audio device and then click on Configure make sure to select 5.1 in the audio channels box then either run the test or just click next on the next page make sure that Center and Subwoofer are both selected click next make sure both front L/R and Surround speakers are also selected click finish and the click apply

Optical will only send a stereo signal and requires an "outboard" DSP such as DTS or Dolby Live to convert it to 5.1

if anyone has issues or crashes, I had even without the titanium, make sure after the bios update

Do NOT Power Down Enabled and Memory Context Enabled, now I disabled both of them, and everything is perfect

I wonder if the titanium will work fine now

@Antes533 I've found the issue for my crackling and stuttering. it was CPU overheating for some reason passed AIDA64 but in MKV 4K movies and games it would crash, go figure
after repasting eCLARO and Titanium works perfectly. using Daniel's 8.0 for titanium it works, Though I still need help to understand the unsigned issue with 2.17 I am not sure if it's a bios version or bios settings, because on my two OS main and portable both even with BCDEDIT commands and the windows security drivers protection disabled it always pop up the Unsigned driver alert which I cannot install or else it will freeze or BSOD.
Anyone have any idea if it's a bios setting that causing the unsigned driver not to install? Secure boot disabled , TPM enabled, I tried disabled.
