Right now, I am getting my butt kicked by my daughter and goodness knows how many other girls on the new "Dress to Impress" update on Roblox.

Man, i am not good at this game.......

It’s great to see the sharing of a mutual fun thing like that!

Yeah, it's a lot of fun. We all game together, the wife and kid and I. One big, happy PC master race family.

Me n hubby just beat Diablo in Diablo 2 and tomorrow we go after baal!!!

I kinda derped at the end but we recovered well.. we both died 3 times fighting Diablo but we had good recovery strats. Worked out good.

Now time to unwind for the night and tomorrow night time to kick baal's

Finished Control main game. Working on the DLC content now. It is still a beast of a game on the hardware. Soon after the initial intro part, FPS dropped to between 72 and 83. It's stayed there, with the lowest being in big fights and higher when just exploring. (EDIT: altho there are times like today when it has varied between 80 and 92). I'm running it with RT on High settings and no DLSS.

u got a slightly more powerful gpu than mine.. i have dlss on with rays on medium certain settings dropped one notch too when i was playing Control..., you feel the 9900k is holding back the your gpu?

You know this mission, but it's actually easy to tackle despite using slower planes. Just make sure you're a lot higher than the plane and descend slowly to the chase plane, as you descend you gain speed, and don't fly straight flank from the side to get behind.

Nice to see red-ish cloud at dusk. It doesn't look pretty on screenshot but alright when in motion. Its year 2005 games after all.

It probably is a bit. Not enough to make me retire it yet. It’s really the only game in a long while that is kicking its a$$.

I've had fun to today playing all the GRID series of racing games, with GRID Autosport being one of my favourites. Then onto NFS Hot Pursuit (both versions) which is outrageously crazy and makes me wonder why they don't make simple games like that anymore.

And then started FH5 from scratch again which reminded me that racing game characters are absolute shite apart from GRID Legends which got it just right. When asked to choose an avatar for FH5 I had to decide which one was not the ugliest.

Why no DLSS? I was under the impression Control implements DLSS very well...

I'm not a fan of DLSS. It lowers the quality of the image. To my eyes at least. I avoid it everywhere I play with RT.
EDIT: the only variation of it I occasionally consider is DLAA.

Tough job indeed. Their animations are even worse IMO.

I started Indiana Jones yesterday and was hooked.

Dang Control has a ton of side quests. One DLC mission I will never complete is Hartman. That is the most infuriating “let’s make this boss impossibly hard and then not playtest it before we send it out the door, they will love it” mission I think I have played in any game. It’s a 5 time rage quit. 16 times I have got him to 1% of health and he flips tje lights out after 2 seconds as soon as I get them on again. I’m far from alone in this sentiment. This is one game that will never be fully completed because of that guy!

Rant over.

I mean you're more persistant than me. I could never get past that first flying boss guy....

I think i killed him (if he's part of the AWE DLC), but I used every guide I could.

I read that if you listen to Hartman, when he starts mumbling about 'Darkness', you can hit him for damage and interupt him. That, apparently, stops him knocking out the lights.

Might not be true. But worth a shot.

just got back to playing cp2077, third playthrough, 1st time as a corpo, max difficulty.

CP2077 phantom liberty
Stalker 2
Dying Light 2 now that gun´s has been implemented some time ago.

You are going to have many frustrating moments. Remember, your KB, M & gamepad are your friends, don't break them or throw them against the wall..
I know the game well enough, no sweat. Was the same with Witcher III, max difficulty was easier once you knew your stuff than playing on normal 1st time around. my controller is wired btw.

GTA V on PS4. Of course I have it on PC, but as it is on PS+, so why not. :)

While true, I've done what you're doing. As you progress, the missions are going to be a PITA.

Just finished the DOOM 3 BFG Edition extensions : Resurrection of Evil and Lost Mission, on PC.
Like the original Doom 3, but with more action.
New weapons, and even a (mostly useless) gravity gun clone.
The double barelled shootgun is welcome and became my favorite !
The Lost Mission is short, with more Hellish passage, a good link between olds and news Doom.

More Hell please, it's Doom afterall !

Space labs, it's stopped just before getting boring :)

Resurrection of Evil has a good Stargate feeling.

Never played the Lost Mission, I guess I'll finish my D3BFG save one day which I started last spring and then play it.

RoE was good as I played it after the original Doom 3.
