What are you playing?

Coffee Stain Studios who made SATISFACTORY deserve all the awards they get , i have been a gamer since 1982 and a pc gamer since 2002.
Satisfactory is the most enjoyable , frustrating , head scratching game i have ever used when something goes wrong it can go wrong very quickly.
Example ... a rouge drone stopped delivering plastic containers to package waste sulphuric acid and water ... long story shortened ........ 100 nuke power stations shutdown by the time i found out.
I have loved every minute of it. My current playthrough has over 4,000 hours on it and i did not realise how big my layout was until i showed somebody what i had done.
My wife could not resist saying that if she had told me to make a layout as big i would probably have said dont be stupid i cant do that.
I sometimes have to pitch myself when i look at it and think .... hey did i really do all that

Did they fixed the multiplayer?

Still playing through Halo: Reach.

Damn good game, still holds up quite well from a graphics standpoint and I love that the campaign seems to be a greatest hits of the best parts of the Bungie Halo series while also introducing some fun new stuff in the form of power ups and weapons.

Didn't expect to find a space combat game in muh Halo but there it was too...

I never get tired of Tomb Raider II. Here's Lara taking a rest after a hard day at the office :)

I haven't played a single Halo game but

FF X HD on PS3, FF VII Rebirth on PC. ^^

I hate when open world games do that, I thought I could go back and find that fish later......

otherwise, re4 is amazing, I love this type of third person, stroy driven games where you have a whole arsenal available.

those graphics look like The Last of Us Part 1 PC port and the performance difference is huge, i know it has been said before many times and couple of times myself. I still can't digest what's going on with PC gaming scene with all new tech like RT, DLSS etc. It might sound like a conspiracy theory but i think they are doing it on purpose.

Started on the game Disorder that indie studio that made this game do like korean women I guess her face is pretty and mysterious body is like a bit too much but I guess that's how the developers made the main character.

Spyro Reignited Trilogy.

I had the original of the first title in the series on the PlayStation and beat it back then, but I didn't 100% it.

I played the original of the second back then, but definitely not thoroughly (a friend had it). I've started that now so I get to see what the whole game is like. It's definitely different from the first. Not in a bad way.

I never played the third so I'm not sure what it's like.
I'm a bit further into the second one so I'll update my thoughts that I started above. I'm not far enough to make a conclusion, but I feel like I'm far enough to see what the recurring structure loop is like.

Each zone has accompanying characters with you now. It's not just Spyro running around to save crystalized dragons. He ends up in another world and has to save it and this world has existing characters that sort of guide you through the zones. The zones are beautiful and have lovely music, and they seem to follow the seasons (so far).

As for the levels, the bare requirements to complete a level feel much shorter than in the first. There's still gem collecting, of course. This time, your gems are counted by the total you have across all levels, not just within the level. You also use them to buy new abilities and get access to new locations by a scam artist! Instead of finding dragons, however, much of the sequel seems to focus on between two to four mini-games within each level. These are probably the meat of the levels, so how you feel on the game as a whole will probably come down to how much you enjoy them.

It's hard to say how I feel about the sequel compared to the first. On paper, it seems to be better because these new objectives are far more varied than simply finding dragons, but the original still felt fresh because, well... it was new and the level design was more of the experience from level to level. The focus seems more on the mini-games here. I sometimes feel the constant new mini game to learn can be an exhausting interruption at times. But, they are usually fun, and they are varied. It almost feels like Spyro with a dash of a mini-game collection game thrown in. I don't know if I'll push myself to trying to get as close to 100% in this one before moving onto the final one though.

For what it was at the time, it was probably good. "More of the same" may not have been enough. But if I had to pick, I think I like the original a tad more. But this one is still good, and maybe I'll change my opinion by the end.

Ahh - The Brotherhood of Steel Blimp Fortress

Like most of the population of the world, Monster Hunter Wilds. I can't say I'm wild about the performance (heh) and the story was an absolute chore to get through, but once I cleared that the game is really enjoyable. I have a co-op buddy in one of my best friends and we have spent multiple weekends playing the game for hours now.

If you're thinking about getting it, maybe wait until Capcom patch the performance. I'm getting dips to 60fps on 1440p Ultra (down from 120fps) and frame generation seems to be totally broken on AMD cards at the moment :( For now I've just locked it at 60fps.

Holy shit. My life is forfeit, game is incredible

Wow... not just performance having dips I see, is that a texture bug on pic 2 or just a really really poor shader job? Damn

I was mostly disappointed in Stellaris.

How would you say Stellaris compares to HoI 4 ??

I was a big fan of HoI 3

The historical accuracy makes all the difference. Stellaris at some point is big universe, click a lot, do things on various stellar bodies but its all interchangeable. Its cool to do the things, but once you've done them, the next time isn't quite so nice. Stellaris is more shape your own thing. HoI IV can do that too but severely limits you per choice of country. Its more like TW Warhammer that way: every race has its unique stuff, total asymmetry.

This is big (actual) world, but its all real, all asymmetric, and all historically rooted. The diplomacy/faction change options are insanely cool, even though I've barely scratched the surface. Doom stacks do not exist, well maybe they do, but they won't win you wars without adequate support that, again, is frighteningly realistic.

I thought I was burned out of Paradox games coming from a few years of Stellaris but no. This is the shit

And @Vayra86 Stellaris is 4X and not grand strategy. Personally I never got into HoI (more of a EU kind of guy and later CK). As for Stellaris I still sort of like it but don't play much, bit I played it a lot up to the FTL rework.

They really need a EU5, if for no other reason resolution scaling. I think Vicky3 is pretty good.
