Funny, you are being ironic but it is correct. Amd, Nvidia intel aren't under any obligation to provide food on the youtubers table. Don't forget that those tech tubers live off of amd nvidia etc giving them early access and free samples. They are under no obligation to do that.
Yet these companies have relied on such marketing for years and years. AMD/Nvidia needed that PR channel to boost sales. They hold marketing meetings for investors, then push products onto media sources for review to raise awareness. I've never seen a GPU advert on a bus, tube, or billboard. I see cars, shampoo, gambling etc. But the fundamental exposure to tech was/is via YT'ers and review sites. To turn on them (hypothetically) is a rash move. To treat them with contempt (if that's how they see it), is worse.
When you say YT'ers live off these things, you're blurring the fact they were used by Nvidia/AMD for marketing purposes in the first place. Tech companies created the environment for these (YT'er) channels to flourish. And our desire (as tech consumers) has kept them going (by the various marketing sponsors that pay per click or per ad, etc).
