Hello,
I’ve used throttlestop on multiple PCs for years. For some reason even after getting around the bios block and disabling virtualization. cpu optimization is allowed through bios. It doesn’t say locked in throttle stop but no changes work. Was wondering if it worked with 275hx?

ThrottleStop has not been tested on any of Intel's recent hardware, desktop or mobile, including the 275HX.

Post a screenshot of the FIVR window. Does the top middle of the FIVR window show that Undervolt Protection is enabled? Try setting a small +5 mV positive offset voltage and press Apply. Check the FIVR monitoring table to see if that value shows up in the Offset column.

Intel probably thinks that CPU voltage control should only be done in the BIOS. This helps avoid any Plundervolt type exploits.

Does msinfo32 show that Virtualization Based Security is Not enabled?

Here’s some screenshots of bios fivr etc

And these were some scores with just basic -30 undervolt earlier with throttle k know at least time spy and cinebench would be much better

The top middle of the FIVR window shows that Undervolt Protection is enabled. You might be able to undervolt in the BIOS but you cannot undervolt in Windows when Undervolt Protection is enabled. Any undervolt that is applied when you are in the BIOS cannot be changed after you boot up into Windows. If the BIOS does not have any options to disable Undervolt Protection then you cannot use ThrottleStop to manage the CPU voltage.

In Cinebench, you are catching up to my 14900HX. Everything else you kill me.

Edit - Your -15 mV offset undervolt request in the BIOS is showing up correctly in the FIVR monitoring table. -0,0146 (-14.6 mV)

lol if I could just undervolt this hot 275hx I can come for your cinebench lmao read your guides so many times to learn as much as possible. I use tired flashbacking to different bios so hopefully this works

Yup even different bios still undervolt protection I’m still in the return period lmao this laptop won’t work well without being undervolted lol do you think this is just temporary?

there is undervolt can be adjust via voltage configuration located bios advanced setting, you need to turn off intel trust execution technology before overclocking menu can be tuen on

I believe there is a small difference between your Cinebench score and Unclewebb's.

His score is in the short, single run test, which should be around 30s, while yours I believe was in the 10 minute test.

His 14900HX reaches ~250W for this score and that is impossible to maintain for 10 minutes...

Just done my undervolt on 255HX, maybe you can check the BIOS settings below:

Intel Virtualization Technology - Disabled
Power & Performance/Overclocking Lock - Disabled
Power & Performance/CPU - Power Management Control/Configure CPU Lock Options/CFG Lock - Disabled
Advanced/Overclocking Performance Menu/Overclocking Feature - Enabled
Advanced/Overclocking Performance Menu/Undervolt Protection - Disabled
