I'm really surprised how many people are going for the 9070 XT, don't get me wrong I love AMD, but even the fanboy that I am kind of sees the superiority of DLSS4 and multi frame gen.

I kind of regret not getting 5070 ti for MSRP when I had the chance. oh well. too late now

I'm surprised people are paying a premium for AMD cards usually it's the other way around they drop like a rock and then AMD fanboy's act like they did it on purpose and are the friends of gamerzzz lmao.....

But yeah paying more for a 9070XT than you could have gotten a 4070ti super over a year ago is pretty crazy but it is what it is.

Hope you paid a reasonable price.

It's still around 100-150 cheaper than the 5070ti so not terrible for 2025. Although I believe thay had one 5070 ti close to 900 can't remember which model.

Pfft there are no reasonable prices anymore man! But yeah it was as reasonable as could be had currently and far cheaper than any Taichi 9070xt available by several hundred since AIBs and etailers went full on stupid (right about the minute the very first batch sold out). Amazon has it listed for nearly $1200... We won't even talk about Newegg with their bundles o garbage.

I considered a Gigabyte Windforce sff 5070ti. But only briefly.
Oddly enough, there are two listings at MC for what looked to be the exact same GB Windforce sff card, one @ $824.99 and the other for $869.99, the cheaper one is now gone of course. I seriously considered the Windforce as I've had really good luck with Gigabyte...until I couldn't find a water block for it lol. Figures. As an aside, I don't know what GB did to piss off Alphacool but they have nothing for them. Not even 5090 blocks.

Say what you will about EK but those turds kept the pressure on the wcing world. Now that they are but a shadow of their former selves the industry as a whole has fallen into a rut. Alphacool simply cant keep up (7-8 week lead times). Byski and Barrow aren't even trying(haven't even released 5090 blocks yet). And Bitspower has been a no show for... I can't even remember when they were a relevant block player. The rest aren't interested in money apparently. Someone, anyone needs to step up and fill the void.

Cholesterol is good for you BTW, especially the type in eggs, you'd be better off dropping carbs and getting your insulin sensitivity up, which will do more for health than cutting good fats.

Credit Suisse research did a good meta analysis on this. There's a lot of myths stemmed from bad research in the 60s, that weren't dispelled till around 2010s in the scientific literature.

well my triglycerides are high(probably (from the nictotine), along with the LDL, which are the bad bits of cholestrol. and i could myself feel some effects, like lowered stamina and bouts of hypertension.
the HDL is decent.

Microcenter delivers... I was leaving MC after getting some sim racing gear when MC texted me with 5090 stock. Apparently its their last batch that's been retrieved from the ports. The batch sitting in the ports are waiting payment from tariffs or such according to singing birds at MC. Anyways I test my friend whose been dreaming of a 5090 and he said pretty please go get it for him, so I obliged. As it turns out I made a TR render machine for him some years back and he wants to swap this in. Got an Optimus block for the cpu and waiting on an Acool block for the PNY 5090.

done (and a mandatory Lucyna case ) i have an UAG Monarch Pro Carbon incoming later (the one on the right is the "in between" for the magsafe )

talking about Magsafe ... well i upgraded the camera grip


which can act also as a 45cm tripo... eh ... fourpod and has magsafe on both side, which mean i can put the CM100 Pro on it, instead of having to put it between the case and the grip

and another Macropad, it had some Huano clicky blue switches ... thanks it's hotswappable in addition of being fully programable on all 17 keys (including the side wheel and the clickable rotary knob )


ofc, it has RGB ... so i can harmonize my color scheme (white or red atm ) and you can either use a web interface (as long as the browser support web-hid) or DL a pretty simple and intuitive soft/frontend that does not need to be running in background (oh! and it feel way better than the Razer Tartarus V2 for some reason ... and cost 4 time less ... )

Nicotine doesn't affect cholesterol it may affect Hypertension if your stressed and smoking more than normal what you want to be cutting out is white bread sugar any sort of seed oil and nut milks and less carbs more protein and natural fats and eggs hard cheeses not brie or colby/edam butter (not Margarine)

well i get my covers mostly from Ali and Temu ... i see them often on Instagram advertising ... i laugh each time, i paid less than 9chf for these 4, yet the sellers with their cookie cutter dropshipper web page try to pass them for 16chf assuring that it is a discounted price from 34 to 45chf original pricing i don't mind paying more and buying locally ... but not at a 800% profit for the seller

the Lucyna and Ellen Joe case are higher quality than the generic silicon, the black/green one is a basic one, but i liked the design, and the right one is tempered glass back but less protective than the transparent one (which is nice since my phone is not black anymore

the UAG Monarch Pro carbon will be the more expensive one but cheaper than the previous Monarch i had for my S23

the S23 one what quite strong (i dropped it down a 4 meter cliff once when i was hiking, zero damages ) and the Pro version for the S25 less carbon but Magsafe compatible


should arrive tomorrow (waaaayyyy in time for my upcoming holidays )

Well the few cases I ordered from Temu even they do list Neo 9/9s and so on have the wrong camera cut out so the camera modules doesn't fit not sure what's wrong with the industry for my phone.

But the model I take a transparent case everything looks like it's suppose to for the camera modules

Last week I bought Asus RT-AX59U from Gigantti-store. Price was about same as if I have ordered it from some online store. One reason to buy this was OpenWRT firmware possibility, I could just go and pickup it from store and this is a still upgrade compared to Zyxel.

Yes there are faster(6E and BE) and maybe better devices with spider look, but this was upgrade to my ISP's old Zyxel. Zyxel has these nice features like only 2.4GHz Wifi at max speed of 300Mbps, also 4 ports of fast ethernet(no 1Gbps here). Zyxel is now set to bridged mode(still on VDSL2). Because nobody knows when those rj45 or fiber connections are usable in this apartment complex.

Yes I also have FRITZ!Box 7590. But it is one of these https://borncity.com/win/2024/07/20/fritzbox-7590-router-the-2-4-ghz-wlan-is-dying-after-5-years/ and it's age is about 6-7 years. It was crashing and 2.4GHz band was weaker than it was on new. So it probably has those components. To me over 5 years on same router is enough.

The more expensive is an OC model.. but the 5070 Ti's seem to OC pretty well. There's even a thread for the GB specifically with some BIOS files uploaded here in TPU to increase the power profile.
