What's your latest tech purchase?

Funnily enough depending on where you live that is also pirating.

Depending where you live. Ripping for personal use is fine so long as you own the original media. Its when you rip it to sell or distribute online etc etc when it becomes illegal and piracy etc.

Depending where you live.

As I said. Over here we have the legal right to rip for personal use, and we even pay for that right*, but we do not have the legal right to bypass copy protection, which is what all media has had for the last many years.

*meaning a part of what we pay for any kind of digital storage goes to an organisation that distributes it amongst various rights holders

Received some new case fans. I've been using the 120 3-pin versions of these for a long time so when I saw these come up for cheap I couldn't pass them by.

and another Macropad, it had some Huano clicky blue switches ... thanks it's hotswappable in addition of being fully programable on all 17 keys (including the side wheel and the clickable rotary knob )
Could You add some more info? I'm looking for affordable macro pad :)
And as title suggest ;)
Another pcie riser, now 4.0 it was only 12 usd with tax xD I don't need it now, but maybe some other time it could be needed :D

Temu found some on Aliexpress exact same layout and brand but listed as Mifuny and way more expensive than on Temu, almost 3 time higher while adding just BT/RF
AliExpress a bit lower priced than Temu same branding
Amazon higher price but it's the exact same, even tho they added "Xiao" in the branding

ah, forgot Monarch Pro Carbon is home, clearly the best Magsafe compatible cover, even tho it has less carbon than the non pro

Salsa Verde is my go to - it seems to come out in cycles at my local stores.

In terms of hardware, about 3 weeks back I got my Titan Silent 2 case.

Bought another z77 motherboard as my Fatal1ty Z77 is in for repairs due to shipping damage. This time its an Asus Z77 Sabertooth for 26$. The seller included a free Pentium G2020 to protect the cpu socket, and I'll test my xeon soon on this board after getting a suitable gpu.
The fans on the motherboard are quiet still, and I intend to keep on using them until they need replacement.

Just bought a bunch of sound proof foam panels for my bedroom. So tired of these thin ass walls and hearing the neighborhoods lawnmowers. Hopefully this will dim it some...

No shot. Get you some SONOpan, it actually works. I think moving blankets might help too if you wanna do things on the cheap. You can also do MLV, or green glue and an extra panel of drywall... but I'm pretty sure foam panels won't help soundproof your room.

Just got this to use as a headphone amp. Sounds pretty decent to me.

Moved to an R9 5900X, using a MSI B550m Pro VDH Wifi :)

i5 8400 (bad motherboard) -> i3 10100 (decent avg but bad 0.1% FPS) -> 5900X (pretty good).

AM5 is still kinda expensive for me locally, especially when you add the cost of DDR5 memory.

The 12700K build had to be cancelled after I received a damaged Z790 motherboard

Esp32-S3 dev kit. Just to play around with :)

At some point, I hope I get an idea for a real project with it.
