Don't like the G502 X PLUS ? What am I missing (never had a G604)

I kinda like the G522, just a smidge dubious on the mic mute button, unless it can be remapped.

It's a step up in battery life and connectivity, but a possible loss in configurability (G733 having a configurable button on it as well as being able to pull battery life announce with the power button)

The G604 is the successor to the G603. The thing I like most about it is is that even without turning the mouse off, the batteries last for MONTHS. It also has 6 programmable buttons on the side and it's very convenient to have since I am an avid WoW player. Each one has a function that I use. The G502 X Plus only has two side buttons.

I could use something like the scimitar from corsair, but it has double the buttons and that is just too overwhelming for me given the size and shape of those buttons.

Yeah see I need less buttons on the side so that never even occurred to me, but you actually have 4 buttons not including the left/right/middle wheel and I can't recall but you can remap the 5th one on the side (it's a dps toggle so it's got 2 mappable 'presses' forward and backward) as well. So in essence, you could have left/right/mid click and 6 other buttons (and if you G shift them or map a qualifier you could extend that out to multiples of 6 extra functions)

Having said that, I need more buttons (or at least one I can reconfigure) on the G522.
The biggest gripe (and almost only) I'd have about this headset is a reduction in configurability.
