Problems opening NVCleanstall

I get;
1. Publisher could not be verified,
2. NVCleanstall ha stopped working,
3.A long list of Problem Signatures,
4. That check on-line just scans.

This is v1.15 and v1.16

Running W7 Pro x64 w/ a 1060 card. This has some of the M$ security annoyances running which I was tiring to turn off.

When you right click, you should see the digital signature and "the signature is ok"

If you mean right click on the file, I did and after a 2nd click it stated that the certificate can't be verified. It seems to be a M$ O/S thing.

I tried it on 2 earlier versions and the same thing.

I believe there is a related issue in my W7. On some .exe's it takes 15-20 seconds before that security pop-up box shows. This .exe is one of them, but the 2nd box is specific.

I'm sure it's not your files, it's something here, thou I've never seen that 2nd box before. This 20 second delay from when I click on the file and that Security box pops up I bet is the problem. I'm assuming it's looking for a response from Windows, but that is not with all .exe's

Yeah that file is fine .. could be some Windows 7 specific issue, does an older version of NVCleanstall work fine?

v1.15 is the oldest I have.
That and v1.16 also have the problem, but those do NOT have that 20 second delay opening up the file then getting that security pop-up.

Could any of this have anything to due with that SHA certificate that expired earlier this year issue?

I just went to your site and d/l'ed v1.
Pretty much the same thing, but a "unhandled exception occurred" error message, then the 'stopped working' box appeared.

I've already tried four!
What exactly does that/those errors in that 2nd attachment mean since it is your error message, not MS's (AFAIK)

No idea, no easy way to know. It shouldn't crash like that

This is probably due to the digital signature being verified, but failing for some reason.
