What subwoofer do you have for your gaming desktop pc?

I changed from a Creative Katana V2X (with a narrow but tall sub) to a Creative Pebble X Plus (with a smaller square sub). They both sounds…good enough for a normie ear, but they both go low as 50Hz, not 20Hz.
I don’t like prolonged headphone use just because.

My brother just changed to an Edifier N300 and I’m very surprised for the amount of bass and general sound quality for a no sub system and for the USD~50 equiv. price.
I still like mine because design and size reasons, but damn that’s a good buy.

You can definitely buy really good sound for cheap these days. Definitely the technology has improved for audio and has gotten cheaper.

i have the logitech 533 system for my pc it is 2.1 system that i bought about 10 years ago then had to move back home and could not use it now i have my own place i am using it again

For my PC I have a set of Logitech G560 speakers mainly for the RGB but the sound is decent as well. I put my old xonar dsx in my PC as onboard sound was giving random issues and it's improved quality a bit too. I live in a apt/townhouse complex but am at an end unit and there is only a sus person above me that can't complain for various reasons lolol. The fact my unit is actually 3 floors helps distribute sound well and having a decent neighbor beside me who doesn't mind my loud music

Nothing fancy, just the sub in my good old Logitech Z906 set.

After the Logitech Z5500 died I bought the much cheaper Edifier S351DB. The cables aren't that long for my setup (sit/stand desk) so I had to elevate the sub a bit. It's also tiny compared to the previous one.

Creative Stage V2. $99 and pure awesome.

Most of the time I'm well served with my B&W MM-1* desktop speakers, as they do fine down to 30Hz
I use the MM-1's too. And for the price they are pretty much unmatched. I have absolutely no idea why B&W stopped making them.
In a small office they have plenty of "displacement".

Yes I would like something better. But I also know things will be MUCH more expensive if there have to be a significant upgrade.

If you want tight hard hitting base-where you can feel the spaceship as it flys past the camera, then you generally want a good brand and those are expensive. You just cant get that with commodity grade stuff. You also really need base traps unless your room is loaded with furniture. The problem is some people have never heard good subs and think what they have is good. But if it brings you happiness that is probably what largely matters.

My 5450 is still going strong. maybe not quite as good as the 5500 but is still pretty good

I promise you the Creative Stage V2 will surprise you.

Used various ones over the years but found that they're just not needed + couldn't turn it up loud anyway because of neighbours. Now I've got a pair of Audioengine A5+ speakers and the sound is good enough without any kind of bass boost. They do support connection to a sub but there just really isn't any need.

For headphones(if/when I use them) I use PEACE equaliser APO(DT 770 Pro 250 Ohm) to correct the sound closer to neutral(I have the bass frequencies boosted because they lack them by default). At the end of the day I prefer natural sound.

Two SVS SB3000 located in opposite corners. These are EQ using a MiniDSP Flex.

Same, but I have them plugged into a creative AE-7 soundcard & have upgraded the speaker wires. The stock ones were cheap ass thin crap stuff. Good enough for my old ears!

i have a logitech z333, using it for over 5 years now. Works well for me. Also apartment, so cant have anything too loud.

I got the lesson of what hardship truly means. That and a whole slew of other life issues.
You can usually get stuff off the secondhand marketplace for next to nothing.

At this desktop PC that is my daily driver I am using a PSA V1510DF subwoofer.

It's a large 15" ported sub with a good bit of power driving it.

What... no one using Sunfire True Sub´s? They´re perfect for 2.1 desktop setups with it´s 11"x11"x11" size. Fits under any desk and has got what it takes to shake things up. Literally.

I use my trusty old Logitech Z5500 fully working for my home media pc and for my main gaming/workstation rig logitech Z906.

I have plenty of sound with those subs.
