True! I have both. Like everything, it depends on the game in question, but yeah, the performance uptick from the 2080 to the 3080 was about 50%.Ampere (2080 ---> 3080) was over 50% as well, especially in 4k.
EDIT: I went back and looked at the reviews and the average was more like 33% to 45%. So not quite 50% but in many cases, it's close.
