AAF Optimus Modded Driver For Windows 10 & Windows 11 - Only for Realtek HDAUDIO Chips

The only reason I'm using Virtual Audio Drivers is to hear LFE on the downmix. I can't make it work with just the drivers.

interesting, I have never installed something like this, it installs like a THX driver apart from the realtek driver and you can choose the output from the application, it sounds great, I have dolby access paid version and I must say it disappoints, but this THX stuff sounds better than Dolby and Boom3d.

strange indeed. I'm using Realtek ALC662 on an old HP desktop PC and running foobar2000 v2.24.3 (x64/64bit version, not the x86/32bit edition) and using a Realtek ASIO driver in 64-bit mode

try to play only MP3 music files, bernid. I don't get that error message that you're getting if you play just *.mp3 files but I do get that error message when trying to play certain WAV (or *.wav) files
so it really depends on what kind of content you're trying to play in foobar2000

otherwise, try installing & using the latest ASIO4ALL driver as an alternative to Realtek ASIO

Setup 1:
1. DTS Interactive (So you could choose multichannel audio on your Realtek Console even if your laptop only has a stereo (single 3.5 audio jack) output. Could also be the case with Dolby Digital Live but I haven't tried yet. Patched Realtek locks to stereo.
2. Dolby Audio Premium (To activate Dolby Atmos for Speaker). If you don't have a Dolby license use Sound Unbound and DTS:X, but don't install any dolby software to avoid conflicts.
3. Tango Hotel X-Ray VAD, you can find in this forum. (I used code because their minions are all over audio forums reporting uploads of their software. (Business as usual).

Setup 2:
1&2 Same as above.
3. Steelseries Sonar - free and better (subjective) version of Nahimic and works on any Windows PC.

I am using setup 2 now and it sounds better than setup 1, probably because Tango Hotel X-ray VAD is very old and only supports 16 bit 92khz max quality, whereas Sonar is 24 bit 92khz and Sonar is more customizable and flexible settings wise.

Probably because this is a RC. New version may have a speaker mode, but like I said it's hard finding updated versions unless you're willing to pay for license. I hope aaf will be able to add the latest version to the bundle.

The version I installed THXVAD_OTA6-rc4_v1.2.42-419 inside the program says ver 2020.709.1.0 allows the use of headphones, speakers and is compatible with my usb logiteche, so it is a good program for those who want to try something different.

I don't know if there is any new version, although as razer owns thx I imagine they must be trying to make all these installers disappear.

I think this is the last version before Razer took over development.
 
When i install it is missing in my drive for my computer omnisound exp and bassback exp, is there any warehouse you help get it?

Is there any way to permanently remove/block the Intel SST bus driver (intcaudiobus.inf and intcoed.inf)?
Despite removing them, they install automatically every time after a few hours and then I have no sound. Manual removal and installation of AAF Optimus works for me only for a few hours...
I use win11 Home.

How to disable automatic driver install on Windows 11
I also recommend turning off your internet connection. Only turn it on after installing AAF Drivers.

Thanks. Unfortunately it doesn't work for my win11 home.
Old drivers 9.22.0.4078 (intcaudiobus.inf and intcoed.inf) from early 2019 are stubborn and always come out first after a fresh install of AAF blocking Realtek Audio Console.

my screenshots are like this.
dts x app seems to be active but i can't make any settings.
i mean i can't even click on it. also it seems that dts unbound is not purchased.

what do I need to do? @AAF Optimus

I found out that ASIO Link Pro causes problems for DAX API, resulting in (my case) constant 30% CPU usage and inability to load Dolby Access and Dolby Settings. Installation has been successful and it only occurs when ASIOVADPRO Driver under Sound, video and game controllers isn't disabled from my short trial and error. I didn't play with it further, as it took me far too long to figure this out, so I don't know if a service restart with ASIOVADPRO disabled fixes it. Fresh boot with ASIOVADPRO disabled doesn't hamper the functionality.

I do have ASIO Link Pro patched with ASIOLinkProFIX (github) and ASIO Link Pro Tool Patcher (give.academy).

I am not sure if this is of any relevance to this project, though I am eager to provide additional information if necessary, albeit I can't tell when I will have the time to do so.

@AAF Optimus Sir. sorry for the pm, but today i installed the latest version and i noticed, that now all Dolby apps are the same or have the same design i think? but i notice the defaults presets at least in Dolby Atmos Speaker System are pretty similar too, specially no major change in sound in comparison of mine past memories that was noticeable the selection... so i come to you for an advice regarding the installation of the .xml files you provide me how i can test thoose one?

Also if is possible what is your opinion about these "news" Dolby apps I remember I had a laptop that come "legally" with the Dolby Home Theater v2 (windows 7 era) and dam... that sh1t was real I mean enabling it the sound was other thin Like night and day... so for today I never tested other equalizers because Dolby app in Dynamic mode is pretty good for all my scenarios, but if you reco me another i will be glad. Actually my board comes with a sound EQ from Nahimic Audio but i never dared to installed it xD
 
我在很多台电脑测试过，也在安装本驱动之前，把之前的残渣卸载的很干净。9816版本是最后的稳定版本。后面的版本直至最新的9838版本，可以完整安装。但是安装之后，音频未有发生任何变化，也就是安装和不安装没有任何区别，DTS、ICE、nahimic、dolby都可以正常打开和设置，但是不起任何作用。

I've tested it on a lot of computers, and before installing the driver, I uninstalled the residue cleanly. Version 9816 is the last stable release. Later versions up to the latest 9838 version can be installed in its entirety. But after installation, there is no change in the audio, that is, there is no difference between installation and non-installation, DTS, ICE, nahimic, dolby can be opened and set normally, but it does not have any effect.

I was really surprised by THX I can notice the difference in many games that do not have dolby technology the attenuation of the sounds behind my back.

The good news is that there is an update for version 2020.709.1.0 which is 2023.725.1.0 can be downloaded from store.rg-adguard putting the code of the app, the bad news is that you can not install because it gives me an error message:

Windows cannot install package THXLtd.THXSpatialAudioControl_2023.725.1.0_x64__zgheytcpjsgqw because this package depends on a device driver that could not be found. One of the following device drivers must be installed: {[THX-THXRTHSA.inf, 1.0.3.50]} (0x80073cfd)

since razer owns thx they hid the app in the microsoft store, I leave the link in case someone knows how to install it and could help us.
