What's your latest tech purchase?

Just bought this for £20, works too. Weighs 20kg. Look mighty impressive. Remote is very complicated gonna need a manual for this

Filter caps isn't needed because IMO its only necessary if your devices got excessive DC offset. The Topping NX1s I mentioned got filter caps but the value is too low, means it rolls off bass too early, most people just bypass the caps anyway.
I am not going to agree with that, but I'm also not going to derail the thread.

Not tried it fully yet, but hooked it up via USB to my PC and boy does it sound nice playing FLAC files. My speakers are KEF coaxial(uniQ) It has some serious power too, 100W x 7

Update with my server upgrade...

I decided to give Thermalright fans a try instead of Noctua Redux. I had gotten some TL-B12 fans for my AMD BC-250, and was very impressed with their performance for the price.

So I grabbed another TL-B12 and two TL-P9s (in addition to the one that came with the CPU cooler). These three fans combined cost only slightly more than a single regular Noctua NF-F12.

Sure enough, these things seem to punch well above their price class. They aren't Noctua quiet, but they aren't far off and are significantly cheaper.

Thermalright's price-to-performance ratio never ceases to amaze me.

You might want to check out Brian Koponen's tips and tweaks for the G29. He helped me a lot with a G920 setup (which is essentially the same wheel) for various sims .

P.S. It will never be, not even close, experience to the IRL driving. I drive bunch of different cars throughout the week, and each one I can comfortably drive on the limit, because I feel the vehicles with my whole body. No racing sim setup will ever simulate such experience, period.
wow, those settings are near to what i have been tweaking and settling upon. After the tweaks it feels a bit better and less wrist injury inducing :D

oh... I miss my Pioneer setup from a couple decades ago....

It is pretty nice, truly heavy though. Tried it from PC with USB and it does sound nice. Gonna try it hooked up to my TV. I am surprised it still works considering its age, these were terribly expensive when new too.

Still on the way (hence no pictures yet), but:

1st player TS1 240mm AIO, €39.99 (shipping, VAT and two-year warranty included). I wasn't after a new cooler, but €39.99 for a 240 mill AIO, I can't get that low even on Aliexpress, let alone deal with warranty and Ali in the same sentence. :D

Let us know how it goes!
It works :) bios has even english language :D . path of exile is playable but it is cause of ryzen 2700 8gb ram and 1660 gddr6 (but 1660 was 27 usd so for now it's great), not the motherboard :).
And for now that's it I need to repair my 3d printer to get mini itx running, and then I will add project log, for now that's all.
Temperatures are ok, with noctua slapped to the cpu heatsink motherboard is max 38C.

I like that case, the Silverstone something CS382. I'll bet it wasn't cheap. what are your thoughts about it?

Definitely too expensive based on the build quality. The metal is relatively thin (but no sharp edges thankfully), the plastics feel a bit on the cheap side, the rear fan wasn't PWM, the tool-less drive cages are flimsy and feel like they're gonna break while installing drives, etc.

My server was previously in a Fractal Define R5, and the build quality of that case is on a completely different level despite being less than half the price. I'm planning on moving my main system to the R5 at some point.

But the CS382 is one of the only cases that ticked (almost) all of the boxes for my server: mATX, 8 hot-swap drive bays, 5.25" bay, and good airflow for HDDs. The only one it didn't tick was an external 3.5" bay.

I do really like this case despite those negatives.

Royal Kludge RK100 V2 Wireless with Brown switches (should have gone for Blue switches). The black colour option was out of stock so white it is.

I was tired of my shitty keyboard from work and the multiple membrane keyboard replacements I've bought over the years which usually stop working just after the warranty expires.

That is nice! I like. Wish I could find a low profile version of this.

This. Example;
I can't find an off the shelf version of my keyboard with low profile keys but I guess you can buy your own (RK has low profile switches but I'm unaware of a distributer/retailer).

Probably better to buy a barebones kit and make your own mech keyboard at that point.

bought another budget gaming mouse (this time from a 10min delivery site), hopefully it can stay well for longer this time as this is my 4th mouse in last half year. Looks promising so far with how tactile button clicks are.

these "indian" brands are looting people by re branding basic chinese stuff most of the time, i hope you paid very little for it. Its more value to money to just buy a good mouse and use it for a decade. I used my g400 since 2009 till this year. where i retired just because i wanted to go wireless. Before that i had to buy new mice every few months. Annoying as hell.
