When you install the driver, do you have 16\48 kHz or 24\48 kHz by default?
24/48 Khz
without Ctxfihlp.exe it seems it always revert to 2/2.1 in CCP, not sure if it is also in Console launcher. so something is weird here. that's the only setting that changes
There are too many complications
Question why it revert to 2/2.1 after restart without ctxfihlp.exe, it's like it can't use that, for example if I try to use 32bit 96Khz I lose CMSS3D or all the options of surround, like 5.1 and 7.1 , only stereo was shown it only happened once when I checked I didn't mess with it again, someone else said that the CMSS3D stopped working when he used 32bit
Could be the SPDIF can't transfer 24bit 96Khz?
Could be ctxfihlp.exe causing the crashes for Titanium only? and not the titanium HD that you 2 have? Is there another version I can use for ctxfihlp.exe? maybe the one you put causing issues for me?
I am trying to rule all things
First, we need another ctxfihlp.exe version so we can check if it's the version you are using for titanium HD, and it seems to crash for the titanium.
as for the Titanium HD we don't need 7.1 for SPDIF as it supposed to be Stereo anyway for CMSS3D. and analog I don't think I'll have 7.1 in the near future.
I just want to have backup
Also, I had an SPDIF that had crackling, so I wonder if I have low quality sound because of the SPDIF, so I am testing also another cable and I bought 2 others for the Titanium HD Toslink to minitoslink and adapters so I can use the same cables
And from the test I did, no matter what I do with CMSS3D for example in the game the precinct Surround doesn't work either way no matter if it's Windows speaker Stereo, 5.1, 7.1
it only worked fine with Heusvi
Now I am not sure if it's the driver issue, could be it is messing something?
I need to check version 1.5.0 again to see what the hell is going on
I used the original ctxfihlp.exe and it doesn't freeze no matter what I do with 5.1 or 7.1, with your file it freezes
There is another file I am not sure what it does ctxfireg.exe
@Antes533 The hell.. I replaced both of the files Ctxfireg.exe and ctxfihlp.exe with 2.40 version and now SURROUND Works FINE in The Precinct ! Using Headphones CMSS3D + Stereo Windows
Something in your version messes up the CMSS3D totally. it's like it can't read the data of the speakers/enable CMSS3D or something properly. it's like stuck on one mode and games use only it no matter what you change, that's why it freezes with it running!
