This is the case i have and it's okay just isn't that resistant to dust as i would like it to be

3 front fans and one in the rear (arctic p12) i haven't googled negative and positive pressure, so i don't know what i have and if it can be improved

A low budget case for better dust resistant ?

My current case isn't that easy to take the front dust filter out and my gpu is 304mm long, i don't care at all about rgb fans i would change them or disable the rgb if it had it

Budget is not at all close to 100 euros + i don't want something closed + it should support a 280mm Arctic freezer III

I would check the used market if you are budget constrained. Sometimes there are good deals to be had.

It doesn't help looking for used a case since i wouldn't know what to get as well as new

I have had corsair cases but i think i had some problems with my last case + my cat wanted to spread his scent close to my case

When i want to dust it or upgrade my hardware i feel it's a little more dusty than i prefer, also for a budget case

Your Avatar claim to be from Denmark

Nbb.com and a few others have "B-ware". I bought myself a fractal Design meshify 2 - "B-Grade". Case.

Especially for a case when it says damaged box or scratches I would recommend to buy it.

Can't you get a magnetic mesh filter from Ali or similar and put it ahead of your intake fans?

Im not shure

I just notice it's somehow a little more dusty than better cases

Fan setup has most of the time been 3 front intake and 1 exhaust fan

Just invest in an electronic air duster and blow out the grills, insides every month or so... takes 10 mins of your time, all cases pick up dust, you have a positive air pressure airflow with 3 front intakes and 1 rear outtake so that will help compared to a negative airflow setup.

10 min omg that's a long time for a pc

It's not about that, it's about mimimizing the dust inside of my case so it takes longer for my case to need to be cleaned

+1 for magnetic dust filters and taking 10 mins a month to clean it out, you won't ever be dust free and if you live in a high dust/animal environment then if you don't want to take the necessary steps to minimise dust and dirt build up, a new case won't help you lol

Im not saying a new case would help but a new case could have better access to the dust filter (remove it without tools) and also could have better dustfilter

Still havn't googled it with negative and positive pressure

You can do an E Z fix. Get some womens tights and put your existing dust filter inside it before attaching it back on the case.

Tights come in many colours and are widely available for very little money.

Honestly cant get more budget then that.

::EDIT::

Actually it can get more budget. Grabbing someone elses used tights out of the trash.

What i just ordered

Deepcool CG580 lots of dust filters, fan in the front bottom, 1x120mm, 2x120 under the gpu and rear (which i hardly ever se), 140mm fan support, under 100 euros with an extra 140mm fan + shipping

i find it funny how much ppl pay for dust filters. when some cheap magnets and thin junk plastic melted with a lighter can basically build filter frames that can be mounted in places that are easy to hide and remove via a pair ot tights or stockings noted above.

Not only that but the amount of extra cleaning it is going to take to take them all out when you do decide to clean it, yes, no dust inside, 10 panels and filters to clean however vs a quick dust once a month :kookoo:

To me a dust filter may obstruct flow, necessitating higher fan speeds and so more noise.

Not here but the new rtx 5000 are so cool, peak on my 13600kf is low 70's in normal benchmarks

Temps is no problem

I've mostly given up on dust resistance. Instead went and invested in a DataVac instead. It's got enough umph to blast out any dust every few months. Unfortunately it's more expensive than a budget case but I thought I would mention it. After washing it's great for drying out existing case dust filters too .

Though all this "positive pressure" to fight dust is total BS. Unless the case is sucking dust into the case from all the holes, it'll try to do that even with positive pressure. You're moving air through the case, it'll drag dust with the air flow. There is just no way going past this.

My case has filtered intake and shit inside gets dusty anyway. It would probably be much worse without it, but dust gets inside no matter what. You'd need hermetically sealed case with HEPA filtered intake to not have any dust inside.

Only case I'm aware to use HEPA filters is SilverStone MM01:

I have no idea how much it costs and if it's still on sale. Or how much airflow it has despite dual Penetrator fans behind it.

How about this argument, the slower the flow into the case, the less dust is being carried along.

So, many slow fans should result in less dust?

so what your telling me is you're two lazy to remove a home made or pre made filter that is only held on with magnets and clean it? Prices on pre-made filters have even come down a lot seems you can get 360 mm filter for less than $10 now.

I'm a lazy guy and just blast things out; sure beats paying for 'canned air' ($5 a can is insane)

I literally said something similar to the OP about cleaning his case out on a regular basis, how the fk you gonna then turn my own comment back on me, get an air duster and have a scheduled monthly routine to clean filters and the case innards, it's not rocket science, but you go rummage through your other halfs drawers for tights and magnets and do you :slap:

A magnetic filter. I have no idea how well it works yet. But my case has these bumps for screwing in the fans and that makes the surface uneven and creates openings underneath for dust to get in.

I am using NZXT 5 Flow Gaming this case have overall pretty good dust protection and it's cheap....
