What's your latest tech purchase?

I just like dedicated arrow keys, tried a 60%, but in some games having to hold a FN key to use the arrows to do something in game just does not work.
65% has dedicated arrow keys if they're a must have for you.

I just got a cheap, £54, apex pro. It's a little big, but i might look for a TKL version if i can get one cheap enough. I do like the little oled scrren and adjustability of the keys.

Ignore the mess, don't have shrouds for these things yet. Grabbed at 50/ea and sure they're the L version, still basically four Vega 56's right there. BOINC is gonna love it.

What is that lil' MSI card there?

32" MSi MPG 1500R 240hz 1440p monitor.

The curve feels nice on my eyes, if that makes sense. And I have a warranty unlike my previous LG. 3 monitor setup when I get a desk big enough. Yay! And no pics because Doro camera is the worst I've ever used

Airflow might be a problem. Those cards have no active cooling. Are they going in a 2U rack?

Working with a friend on a 3d printed solution with 120mm fans. For the moment while waiting for the weather to get better and stuff to fall into place having two Vardar fans actually keeps them cool enough to get drivers working.

I will not run without some kind of cooling. If they get too hot they'll shut off and scream. Literally screaming GPUs. My tinnitus doesn't need help.

Ah, cool! Very nice! Do post photo's when you're done, it'll be interesting to see what you come up with.

Good luck with cooling those under full load without a server rack amount of airflow/fan noise. Maybe consider taking off the shrouds and strapping a couple of 120mm on the sides of an each one (like a regular consumer ones)?

Ah, ignore the last sentence if that's what you already meant.

If you're not using your vehicle for racing it's a waste of money buying Iridium plugs just save some money and buy Platinum instead

I got a set of 4 for $12.80

One could argue that 100,000 mi life is not needed for racing.

I actually did get them working before without shrouds or ducts on full Blender and BOINC loads. Probably helped this was in the cooler weather times.

Ah well that's pretty cheap then forget what I said iridium plugs like to run hot so good for racing not so much for round town or freeway driving as they just don't get hot enough to perform well that's why I suggested Platinum instead but getting em cheap basically cancels out the cost/perf metric

Just got my new cooler. This should deffo beat the D15s. There is a bigger space between the bottom of cooler and the top of GPU, with the D15 there was hardly any gap at all.

Wow! What a beast!

Thanks

Even after years dealing with LGA, i still get nervous about bending pins, but fitting the frame was fine. Smaller cooler, better cooling, they are doing something right.

Might wanna clean them fan blades at the bottom. In fact top and rear wouldn't mind cleaning too :D

I'll have a look before i turn it on in morning. :D

Before or after test firing a motorcycle being mended in your kitchen? :p

My bike is sweet, done lots too it, It's summer so i can do stuff to it outside now.
