9800gx2 Bench runs: Sli enabled and disabled

Oh , I'm sorry . I thought that u were running 2 9800GX2's in SLI . I didn't now that 9800GX2 had SLI feature in drivers, since its 2 cards on one connector, and u could disable and enable it .

Yeah. It's because multi-GPU rendering still causes problems in some games on occasion.

Damn it. He has me wanting to get an SLI board, so I can run 2 8800GT's @ 900mhz+. :D

Wille, what happened to your 9600GT?

Vantage is so much better than 3dmark06. They took long enough developing it.

No if they could only squash a few bugs it would be worth me actually buying it. :)

Good program. I am sure its worth the money I just have been watching my spending since gas increased. I drive between multiple offices to maintain my network, and I don't get payed for increased gas prices. :ohwell:

I don't get payed for commuting either.

Give it time man, give it time. :toast:

Damn it Cold, now you have me wanting to buy basic so I can test my SLI vs single card. :D

Hey, they are getting cheaper and cheaper... I spent $653 on mine about a month ago!

I updated the first post with Fur run on both SLI Enabled, and disabled... I only had a 1point decrease in score... ????

All stock on the card still

There's definitely something wrong there: a 8800 GT is supposed to be better then a single 3870, let alone a 9800 GX2 and i'm getting 2966 with my 3870 without OCing both CPU and GPU

Your right there... I haven't messed around with Nvidia Control panel, but I've seen that they have the settings to where you can bench better... Thats my only thought on it... Fur isn't one for me to really care much for.. Well, to be honest I don't care much about Benching, just something fun to throw in every once and awhile!

I didn't like 3dmark06 because it didn't directly reflect your gaming experience. It looks like vantage is much more accurate. :)

This means that Fur Bench is great for 1 GPU cards but NOT for 2 GPU cards.

I'm wondering if this also happens with SLI using 2 cards (2*8800 GTs, for example).

I know that Cyber Druid had the same thing happen to him. Going crossfire was the same as running one 3870... I forget what we talked about in Fur with this... I know we came up with something being the reason...
But, I think it has to do with the whole 1 Card thing... It sees it as being just one card and not two sperate cards....
